Brave Merida Bow & Arrow, Disney Princess Brave Accessory for Girls, One Size

This purchase actually exceeded my expectations. From reviews my by other customers I thought there was a good chance that the toy would not function very well ( wouldn't shoot the arrows ) I accepted this and was ok with that possibility because my daughter is 4 and really just wanted a prop to play with rather than a functional bow and arrow. To my surprise the toy does shoot the arrows ( not super well but for the price I paid well enough) so the toy exceeded my expectations. And she loves it.

This is a cute arrow set for kids. It comes with two arrows that have suction cups. It has a glitter finish but the glitter is permanent and doesn’t come off which is great. It works and is useable but probably hard for little kids to use.

I recommend this product with reservations. If you want a little plastic toy designed for looks, not performance, this is a good costume prop but the price seems a bit high. I wonder if the toy makers ever actually tried it because it doesn't work well or stay together. The bow string is encrusted with glitter, so nocking and shooting the arrow gets glitter everywhere. The bow string popped out of the notch on the second use due to the notch design and too-small knots in the string. So I retied the knots and fixed the string. About the arrows, on the positive side, they are safe for little kids since they barely shoot. The thin, bendable plastic shafts were crooked right out of the package strapping. There are no fletches; feather or plastic, for any pretense at accuracy. The suction cups are the molded, less-flexible type that don't stick well or keep their shape. I didn't expect professional quality but I did expect it to function--the product description on the web site states that quality materials are used to make Disguise products. We will have to get another bow and arrow set so the 4-year-old can get some play target practice but will keep this set for the Merida costume.

I got this for a play my daughter, it was perfect for her role although I only put four stars because it was a bit smaller than expected. And it also had some glitter on it which was another surprise but it was awesome.

Gave as a gift to our 6 year old granddaughter and she loved it. Didn’t matter if she couldn’t shoot the arrows at first, but loved running around with it and pretending. Looks cool to kids because of the sparkle on the bow & string.

VERY CHEAPLY MADE. NOT WORTH THE $. MY GRANDDAUGHTER VERY SAD ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO USE IT. VERY FLIMSY.

This was so cute with my Indian women costume. I had to make a couple little revisions, but it was just what I needed. Didn't want anything too large or expensive. This worked perfectly.

Cheap rubbish. The price and shipping for this is a disgrace. It was a Disney princess which it didn’t state !! Total waste of money.

They are very small but my nieces love brave and are happy with them as a gift! (3 years old)
