Nintendo Playing Cards Round Fu Tengu Black (Japan Import)

The product I received was just as I expected a brand new set of black TENGU hanafuda cards. The cards are genuine and made by Nintendo. They come packed in a plastic case which includes instructions (in Japanese, however English instructions can be located online) and the cards themselves. The case is simple but functional. The cards are sturdy and feel good in the hand, and look very vibrant and pleasant to the eye. Overall I am very happy with my purchase due to the quick/affordable shipping, low price, and excellent product quality. I will definitely look forward to working with eJapan! in the future

handsome, sealed packaging. Cards came in a silver cardboard sealed box, which was inside the black and tan plastic box which can be opened from either end using a "push" tab to spring open the door. Each card has a slightly textured black backing that wraps around the edge of the face to form a neat black border around the picture. The card faces have a matte finish. I'm bringing this to work tomorrow for some lunch time koi koi!

My son and I play this game 4 or 5 times a week. We love these cards and the illustrations are beautiful.

Study cards, appropriately sized, clear and bright printing, instructions included, in Japanese, as you would expect. well made and sturdy card case, so traveling with the cards is easy.

Came as advertised, sealed. If you're looking for poker-sized cards, these aren't it. Designs and colors look good, feel is sturdy and I'm sure they'll hold up for quite awhile with regular play, but these aren't high-value collector's items.

These are exactly like the Hanafuda cards we used growing up. I am teaching the kids to play this and they love the game! I plan on purchasing each of them their own set soon. The colors are great on these and are as sturdy as hanafuda cards can get!

I need to print out the game rules in english but thats because I am a single language speaker.

A great game but you might need a coach or a book to learn to play this game. There are simple versions as well as games for advanced players. The little cards are beautiful and durable but a little difficult to shuffle. I would buy it again.

Cards are good quality, comes with japanese instructions for Hachi hachi and Koi koi games, but you can google the rules for these in English. Very compact to carry around even, although the games themselves benefit from poker chips or go stones to track score, you can keep track on paper too. The cards give a satisfying rattle/clank when played on a table. Good quality from Nintendo.
