The best toy I have EVER purchased!
I bought two cat toys, one for each hand. It was like a flock of birds in the house! My cats LOVE this! It has bird feathers on the end, a furry thick string, and another little thing sticking out from the fur. PERFECT. And another advantage was the exercise I got waving my arms around. We all had so much fun! I recommend buying two. Or if you have friend(s) than four or more toys, one for each hand. Since I have one cat that is more aggressive than the other, I clip the claws of the one and leave the claws alone for the less aggressive cat. You might want to clip the claws of your cat before playing so their claws don't get stuck while playing. Sometimes the cat's claws get caught and they forget how to retract them in their excitement. So just dangle the second toy over the cat and he/she retracts the claws from the first toy to go after the second toy. Since I've started playing with my cats with these toys they have become more loving and less afraid of each other. Now they understand they can play together and that the other cat is not after them, but after the "bird". I highly recommend this toy for introducing new cats together. Let them gang up on the "bird" and not on each other. This was by far the best toy and one of the least expensive I have ever purchased. It is great exercise for all. And it came the day after I ordered it. I highly recommend this toy, but suggest buying multiple toys for more fun, one for each hand available. Update, a few of the feathers were off after the first few days of play. I think when I order again, which I will, then I will add more glue myself to make sure the feathers stay. By the third day they were begging me to play with them by standing over the toys. They fully understand that it's more fun with me rather than when the toys sit on the floor. Who knew I had such acrobatic kitties! Back flips, amazing leaps in the air! Excellent exercise for both cats. I was wrong about who was the most acrobatic. You can tell that the one that was rescued later has had a lot of practice in catching birds! And since I took him to the vet and brought him in, the dead presents outside of my door every day have disappeared. The cat that I rescued first is more into the floor animals than the birds. He likes to hide under the chair and pounce as the toy goes by. Enjoy!

Really nice toy
I bought this for the cats that like to stay in our warehouse, they have come attached to us and they trust us to be kind to them. Now when I got this I seen that the fabric is not one piece, they are 2 pieces sewn together, I thought, great, that is going to rip. But no it has not so far I am impressed. One cat at work likes to play the most, the other will kinda, but the one does play hard and there are no rip or tears so far, not even of the little designs that are attached. I am impressed so far by this. I will update my review if something happens to it so you all know how long it lasted. So far it has been only a week, but kitty plays with it each day when we have time to play.

Cats love it, quality is subpar...
All the cats love this toy, if only it held up to use. The stick broke the second day we used it. Every time we play with it there are pieces of fabric on the floor. The cats love it, but it will not hold up to long term use. There is a nice variety of textures on it, so there is something for every cat. It just will not hold up to the riggers of a kitten or a one year old cat.

Fly Wild, Best Dangling Cat Toy
I bought two for my 8 cats as well as another dangling toy that I thouhgt they would love. My cats are afraid of all their dangling toys that squeak. I bought these for Christmas. The other brand one has been completely ignored. They go wild for the two Fly Wild ones I bought. They are holding up great. No loss of feathers. The body is nice and thick for kicking an chewing. My daughters cat lives in our bedroom and as soon as I come she runs over to me. She stretches both hind legs and waits by her exercise equipment for her personal trainer (me). I have to take her dangling toy throughout the room and bathroom, dangling and hiding the toy behind, over and under until she and I am exhausted. As a cat mother I really appreciate the safety feature this one has that is hard to find: a short cord attaching the toy the wand. I know a friend whose kitten was struggled by a dangly toys cord while they where out. I do not need to worry about putting the toy out of reach of the cats when done playing. I highly recommend this cat toy.

My cats need to get jobs if they want expensive toys
For under $5 how are you really going to complain ? My cats wanted the expensive Jackson Galaxy one that costs $17 that they previously destroyed (3 times now). So...I guess my cats should have thought about that huh ? Maybe next time they wont get a toy for under $5. Something for them to think about while they sniff and barely touch this new one with a short plastic stubby cord. No cool retractable wand or fancy button that zips the line back in and gets them all excited.... Just a stick with a plastic cord with a feathered jellyfish thing ? Honestly Idk what it is supposed to be... But the price was far more reasonable and my two kitties are precious brats. They are both 3 years old now..Time to stop knocking over water bowls, throwing food all over floor, stinking up the house, tearing up my couch, destroying my curtains by hanging from them when they get jitters, one kitty will take ALL the jackson galaxy toys and lay on top of them so his brother cant touch them at all.... NOPE. Not anymore.... I five star this toy as a great toy to bring all spoiled cats back down to earth. Dear goodness I love these cats.... you know I secretly want to buy them all the toys they want.... MUST HAVE WILLPOWER....

Sturdy, but maybe too much.
I was trying to replace an old, super-cheap, feather boa-type wand toy my cats loved, and while this toy was well-priced and seems sturdy, it just doesn’t do the trick for us. First of all, I didn’t realize what the toy was made of, but the main part is a strip of faux fur fabric with raw edges, and while it’s better now than it was, it sheds, leaving bits of faux fur everywhere even when the cats haven’t touched it. Also, it almost seems like this might have been better as a multi-toy set because while it seems sturdy and well-made, it kind of seems overdone. My cats were interested right at first but even my very playful, adventurous kitty quickly became a little scared or overwhelmed by it, maybe because it has areas that are too hard for a wand toy. I’m guessing it hurts if the cat tries to grab it: one part is a small, hard, loofa-like bit shaped like a bird that hangs from a short piece of twine, and the other is the connection where the feathers attach to the end of the strip of faux fur fabric. I finally cut the feathers and the loofa bird off, and I think the cats may play with the furry part now. Adventure cat will occasionally carry around the detached feather part and bat it around a bit. If they’re still hesitant to play with the wand part, I may try cutting the fur in half lengthwise (and maybe shorten it a bit) so it is more lightweight like their old toy.

Get out your zigzag before you unleash your cat!!
I bought this for my cat and unfortunately, due diligence and quality assurance is seriously lacking! On an up note my cat adores it, but due to lack of stitch quality, and new fabric material it lasted only three days and completely came unstitched! Imagine my cats meow, at seeing that fo-paw! Not so much! I have the same one circa pre COVID, which I bought at Marshalls for some $5.00 and change... It is a little worn out, but the stitching and fabric have held... Gives "paws"!!! For thought in skimpflation and how cheap and disposable things are now made! It's too bad, as it is a great toy and my cat loves it... But the new generation of quality control leaves the cats meow, with it's back up!! Change the fabric triangle back to a more durable fabric, like hemp! And stitch that puppy so everything that is to be held by the triangle stays put and makes the grade!! Stop with this cheap manufacturing and inflated prices!

Really simulates prey animal for hunting instincts.
Holy cow does my cat friggin' love this thing!!!!! She will fly in the air trying to catch this thing and will keep up her "hunt" for quite awhile. The handle is long enough so that I can walk around and wiggle the toy around the floor without having to bend down (which is great for someone who's had spine surgery). I'm 5' 3" and any taller though and the toy probably wouldn't touch the ground. I was expecting my cat to destroy the feather parts, rip off the hairs, and destroy the rope/ribbon parts, but they've surprisingly have taken a toll and still look brand new. The ribbons make a nice flappyish sound, so if I pretend that it's a bird trying to "flap" a little over my cat's head, it really drives her bonkers. Overall, I'd say this is hands down THE BEST toy, personally, I've manage to find that has my cat wildly entertained and definitely calms her hunting kick for the day. She seems to think this is actually some kind of prey animal. I also only bring out the toy about 15 min, let her think she's caught it at the end, then I hide it. Try this out if your cat easily gets bored. I'm getting one for my mom's cat... Oh and you can replace the feathery part by unscrewing it at the end of the "wand" part. Mine first fell off a few minutes into playtime, but once I screwed it back on tightly, it's kept. Otherwise, I'd say just superglue it or something if that keeps happening to you.

Sheds like crazy
Gave it to my sister’s cat. Loved it at first but sheds like crazy now! It’s everywhere!

Not worth it if your cats like real feathers
It’s ok for the price but my Savannah Cats don’t like it at all. Was a waste of money for us.
