Wow, these headphones really do block out the outside noise! I hardly hear any outside noise when I'm wearing these. But the microphone on the headset thread is WAY down on my chest. That's kinda dumb and makes these very obnoxious for using as a headset. To make these work, I put both earpieces on the right side of my head and then wrap the left one behind my head. That brings the mouthpiece up higher cause I'm pulling it up to wrap it around my head. But then I can't really move my head much or it yanks on the cord and pulls it out of my left ear. Not a very good design for a microphone. I wouldn't buy these again.

Audio-Technica does it again.I am going to keep this extremely short and hopefully as sweet.I hate earbuds with a passion, they feel obnoxious, and they never -truly- fit my ear, especially when I am active. I have put these through the ringer and the sound, as well as the remote on the phone work flawlessly still. The only minor complaint I have is that the mic is way too low to be used practically, but despite that I am able to stay active freely without worrying about brushing against the mic/controller for my music so it's a double-edged sword and not worth docking a star over in my opinion. The sound is superb, especially when listening to more bass-heavy tunes.I have the ATH-M50x's and these, I am 100% an Audio-Technica fan through and through. I'll be loyal to Audio-Technica for good.

SOUND QUALITY & COMFORT: The sound quality on these is great! They have great treble and bass which on sound quality would get 5 stars from me. They are also very comfortable in my ears.OVERALL PRODUCT QUALITY: This is why I give them only 2 stars. I've had to send the headphones to the company under the 1 year warranty FOUR. Each time the headphones stopped working after about 1-2 months of use, and the company then sent me a new set (so the replacement sets died as well). I have to pay for the shipping myself and so I've spent more getting replacement pairs then on just getting a new pair by a different brand. I've done this because I love the sound quality and fit of the headphones. It's too bad they don't have better longevity.

I am actually really surprised by how well reviewed these earbuds are. Caveat: I don't have the technical background, but having listened to a few sets of earbuds side by side including this one, I'm not a fan. I bought these about a month ago and have already moved on to another pair. They were hardly better than a pair of $25 earbuds I had previously. In addition, the cord reflected sound to a really surprising degree (i.e. I'd get a ton of feedback when I was just walking around generally; every time the cord hit me I could hear it). Basically a very disappointing purchase. I just got the Klipsch S4A earbuds instead, and the sound is substantially better - and greatly reduced noise from the cord. Much happier with them and really glad I made the switch.

Second time I purchased this item. Product is good but the seller sent me an already opened item, that I think had already been returned. After a few days, a problem appeared at the remote and sometimes a short circuit happens, muting one side or the other.4 star for the product. 0 for the seller. I call this scam.

Its great the sound is well balanced and blows the stock headset from Apple away. However the only reason i wouldnt give it 5 stars is because the volume adjuster does not seem to be well crafted and sometimes you get no output from either headset unless you toggle with the adjuster a bit.UpdateThe sound has progressively gotten worse and I would not recommend it.

The sound produced by these earphones is quite good, as is the in-ear fit. The microphone is poorly placed for walking and talking in an environment with ambient/background noise. The problem is that, after less than a year, the headphones no longer work. The sound is extremely faint and the plug seems not to make proper contact when inserted into any jack. It's not a question of excessive wear: I don't use them frequently, and when not in use, I store them in the pouch that came with the earphones. It's a disappointment that the quality is poor, because the sound used to be good.

Fit was terrible and sound as good as cheapo set.My ear canal must be small? Hard to set in and keep in. Won't work with over the ear helmets, stick out of the ear too far.Disappointed, personal items best bought from brick & mortar,..... ??? returned.

Using this product for 2 months without any problem. The wrong spelling of the name [dated as of March 14 2016], had me worried a bit. But after using it for 2 months, I can reliably say it is one of the great products out there at this range. The single button with the volume rocker works as it is intended. It has a great selection of ear buds and supports. The ear buds doesn't lets sound leak, there by cancelling external noise from entering as well, the mic also has external noise cancellation. The only thing I did not like about it is where the volume rocker hangs, providing an optional clip would have solved the problem, otherwise a really great product.

Great earphones:Sound quality and Bass is awesome.very comfortable.the central mic is a problem. Sound clarity fairly changes when holing the mic close to mouth.

The volume is too low and not worth the money you pay... I would suggest don't buy this. The only thing I liked about this product is the fitting in my ears.

Waste of money. I will suggest everyone not buy this headphone. The sound quality is not at all up to the mark and not loud enough. The worst headphone money can buy at 4k.

By far the worst headphone i've ever had. Can't believe it was made by Audio-Technica. I am 100% sure they didn't test this before making it public. I think they put the parts together and started to sell.1) The mic in the middle of the cords is a bit heavy, so it keeps pushing the headphones from the ears. It doesn't push the earphones out, but you can feel a pressure pulling them down.2) Audio-Technica is super proud of the "360 rotating eartip". But like I said, I think the didn't test this. So if you tilt your head, walk, run, or just be a natural human doing human movements, then you can hear this rotating eartip clicking and moving inside your ears. It's unbelievable. Seriously, I am not exaggerating... The headphone makes no "clicking" noise if you keep your head perfectly straight, if you move your head a little bit, then you start to hear the noise again.3) The worst part. The audio quality. The amount of bass and treble are completely wrong. I am not a sound expert. I bought this headphone to listen to audiobooks and music (normal music, like Of Monsters and Man...). What happens is that the bass is none, zero, you can't even hear a bit. So this makes the song completely flat. And the worst part is that the treble is super high!! So I can't even listen to audiobooks normally, because when someone reads a word with an S or T it sounds like someone is punching my ear.4) Last but not least... believe it or not, at one moment I felt nauseated by the super high treble in this headphone.
