Don't buy this watch. It is cheap plastic and looks and feels like a toy. There is no backlight and it is hard to see the numbers. I don't know if the dial is 50cm.

No, you can't change the language on the watch.

Does it have a (1) a count up timer, (2) a count down timer.

Yes I does have a Stopwatch as well as a countdown timer. It also has a pace counter!

We have been unable to reset the time after gaining an hour. Can anyone help?

In the normal time mode, press and hold the "reset" button. Use the "mode" button to scroll to the hour then use the "start/stop" button to set the hour. When youre set, finish by pressing the "reset" button one last time to get back to normal time mode.
