Amazon Brand - Solimo Multi Action Antiseptic Mouthwash, Alcohol Free, Fresh Mint, 1 Liter, 33.8 Fluid Ounces, Pack of 1

This review is purely subjective. It is about my personal preferences much more than the product. The product arrived promptly and in good shape. This was a COVID purchase made in haste and just so I would not have to go to the store to buy my usual mouth rinse. The first thing I noted was the ingredients which I neglected to look at before ordering. I would not have bought the product based on the ingredients alone had I checked, my bad. So read the ingredient list and label warnings before purchasing. I figured what the heck, I'll just use the stuff till it's used up and won't buy it again. I tried it, it was nasty. I always rinse out mouth wash with water after so as to not leave any chemicals or artificial sweeteners in my mouth to absorb into the bloodstream. With my regular mouth wash it's all good, rinse with it, and then rinse it out with water, done. This stuff was yucky in the mouth and then despite rinsing with water more than usual the flavor lingered for an hour or so. I bought the 4 pack blue mint product. It colored my tongue blue so I ended up going to work with a blue tongue. I checked in the mirror in the evening and my tongue was still somewhat blue. Not that I go around sticking my tongue out all the time but that's some strong coloring. Anyway, if you like this product great. I know where you can pick up a few bottles free before I pour them down the drain. And note for obvious and reasonable reasons the product is non-returnable.

I hardly ever write '1' star reviews...but this one deserves a '0' star one!!!I purchased this mouthwash hoping to find an alternative to the  Colgate Total Gum Health  mouthwash that I love and that is getting very hard to find.I chose the Amazon's Solimo mouthwash because the ingredients were almost identical to the Colgate, except for the coloring/dye used.BLECH!!!!!First of all, the taste isn't minty at all. But, the WORST: my tongue was all blue and pasty after using!!! My teeth also turned blue!!! After spitting it out, my mouth didn't not feel fresh at all.This is TERRIBLE mouthwash...and Amazon should not be selling it.Stay far away from it!

Given the price and refund guarantee we weren't taking any huge risks trying this product. However we won't be buying this Solimo Multi Action Antiseptic Rinse, Alcohol Free, Fresh Mint product again for 2 reasons. 1) It stains my mouth. It's temporary, but it can't be used at work or just before leaving home. BEWARE: it also stained the white bathroom shelf within 2 days to the extent bleach will not remove. Why did the development team choose such an unnatural color in such a intense quantity. 2) Though the color is intense, the anticeptic it not. It has a minty tast with a mild cleansing sensation (3 out of 10), nothing close to tingling. If the color were clear; or if it provided some tingle (5 out of 10) I'd continue buying it. I may try one of their clear mouthwashes in the future. Definately won't buy blue again.

I bought this because it was alcohol free antiseptic mouthwash, exactly what I needed for my new oral piercing…..Arrived fine and sealed. Tasted good when I used it. Smiled after rinse, teeth had a grey tint to them and tongue was blue with bright blue stringy speckles?…. What the heck? I used a tongue scraped and it did not remove ANYTHING including the blue color from my tongue. I rinsed mouth twice more, still blue. I had to rebrush teeth and tongue to remove the blue from my mouth, which defeated the purpose of antiseptic cleaning my new piercing. Extremely disappointed. I tried the mouth wash a couple times with the exact same results every time, even diluted with 1/2 water once, still stringy blue. What is this? Is it dangerous? I will discontinue use immediately and never order again.

Just as effective as crest pro health.Less blue chunks than pro health too.I do wish there was a clear version like the pro health night formula. Might have less potential of staining if the mouthwash was clear.That said, this is my new go to rinse. Without question.

Solimo ingredients are cetylpyridium chloride 0.07%, water, glycerin,flavor, polaxemer188, sodium saccharin, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sucralose, benzoic acid, blue #1. Compare with Crest Multi Protection Clean Mint - cetylpyridium chloride 0.07%, water, glycerin, flavor, polaxemer 407, sodium saccharin, methylparaben, sucralose, propylparaben, blue #1. Solimo works well for me as it better value than Crest and is a very similar formulation, flavor is almost the same. Cetylpyridium chloride at 0.07% is the active antibacterial/antiseptic ingredient proven to reduce plaque and gingivitis and used in many similar mouthwashes at this concentration.

I never checked Amazon for mouth wash until the COVID-19 pandemic. I purchased this Amazon Solimo house brand so I could stay at home. When I received my order, I discovered a couple of things. I had been buying mouthwash at a national discount big box store and I am convinced this Solimo mouthwash is the exact same item as the big box store brand.The attached photos will show the following: The active ingredient is the same as the big box store. Both bottles are the same shape and height including details down to the ridges on the screw top. The front and back labels are the same shape with the main differences being on the front label where the brand name is shown.Included in the photos is the rear label of a small national brand bottle of mouthwash I cleaned and refilled as a travel bottle. The active ingredient is the same.So, in the future since I have Prime, when I need more Solimo mouthwash again all it will take is a couple of mouse clicks.

Maybe I got a bad batch, but this product was horrible. It left blue strings in my mouth that were very hard to rinse out. I have to go back and brush again, thoroughly, after using it, to get all the strings out. If I don't it ruins my sense of taste for the whole day. Unless this was an isolated incident, absolutely steer clear and Amazon should pull this item.
