Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy Of The Duelist Nintendo Switch - Code in Box (Nintendo Switch)

This is a brilliant game for fans of Yugioh and the options and modes are huge - I’m about 60% through total completion and it’s taken me over 100 hours already.Reverse games, challenge games, deck building, deck editing, card buying, deck management it’s a long list of things to do.I have over 3000 in game card and there are still hundreds I haven’t got.One of the main reasons why I like this game is you can play with the suggested deck or your own deck. I built my own deck and have used it for over 100 matches. I used my own deck for all the campaign missions - the game allows you to do this even using your own deck (mine is from the original series 1) right up to the final season with link monsters.This game has 2 massive problems -1) The deck I use has a bias towards almost all traps and spells - a normal person seeing 5 cards in the trap zone would think twice about attacking - but the AI always attacks even when there are 5 cards in the spell zone. So if (like me) you have a lot of mirror force or raigiki cards the enemy will always end up losing.2) The game freezes all the time - especially in later games when the AI is using link monsters. The AI will go through a process of summoning cards and the process takes up to 10 minutes because the game freezes and the graphics slow down to a crawl. Sometimes the AI sacrifices 3 mega high level cards for a card that they used for the sacrifice, it’s bonkers.I really like this game, the graphics are great and the nostalgia is high and there is a load to do. Shame there is no voice acting and the music is repetitive drivel.

I don't play games online really. But from a single player standpoint. This is THE definitive single player Yu-Gi-Oh game. It takes you through the story arcs for all the shows. You have the option to play with your own deck in each duel or the story deck, which is mostly the deck you see the characters use on the show against that opponent. After you've beat someone you can do the same duel, but in reverse. You are the antagonist in this case. This adds more fun and doubles the replay value instantly. Easily the best Yu-Gi-Oh game I've played.

It is a good game and very detailed. However I would have liked more from it with regards to the new links format.

It’s a mediocre game as I still think it could have been polished up a bit more before they released it like the long animations that you can’t turn off and no exploration just duels and dialogues also the ai could have been better designed nonetheless the copy I picked up contained the physical cartridgeThe only other issue I’d like to mention is that the seller listed it as used very good but this was not the case the box I received was grubby and somewhat stained thankfully the cartridge still works perfectly.

Very good game of you want to learn the current rules and play competitive and also has lots of story duels from all series so its worth getting for under £25 plus you get 3 promo cards so yeah

Ensured i ordered the version with the game included in the box and the 3 game cards. Still sent the download only version! Very dissapointed

Excellent game still got many hours left ahead to unlock all card sets so I can say this is good value for the money.
