We purchased this to transport our kitten when she was to be spayed. My fear that she would hate it and fight going in it was unfounded because she never struggled being placed in it and seemed instantly comfortable once inside of it. When we arrived for her appointment there were numerous other cats in carriers awaiting surgery. And, although we weren't trying to have the absolute best carrier, we clearly did 😍! This carrier put the hard, plastic carriers to shame 🤫. It's attractive design, and soft plushy interior, sent the unintended silent message that our kitten was the most loved 💗. The thoughtful inclusion of three zippered doors, the removable, but super-soft floor (that unzips for washing), the well-made, wide, handles (complete with Velcro) and strap, the 4 bottom hard plastic feet and the high-quality zippers and toggles, address every detail you are looking for in a carrier. There is even a nice, deep pocket on the side for convenient storage. This carrier was a great investment! We'll never want, or need, another!

This carrier works very well for what it's suited for. I purchased one in anticipation of bringing home a new kitten to join my cat family. His foster dad ended up delivering him to me instead, but this carrier still played a crucial part in his introduction to my household. I set up one of his blankets and some food in the carrier, and he was able to feel safe and comfortable hanging out in there for the first day. I kept the "doors" closed when introducing him to my older cats, and the carrier provided the perfect "screen" to avoid swatting or clawing, and to allow my kitten and cats to view and sniff each other without feeling threatened. Then I put the carrier in the bathroom with the litter box and kept the main "door" open so that my kitten could come out into the bathroom and bedroom if he wanted. (I gave him access to the bathroom and bedroom when I would leave for work, etc., and kept the bedroom door closed so that he would be separated from my other cats.) After a day or so, he was comfortable outside of the carrier for the most part, but sometimes would go back in just to explore and play with it as another toy. (He particularly enjoyed using it as a tunnel when both doors were open.) His older sister also went in the carrier a few times to explore and take in his scent. I don't think the transition would have gone half as smoothly without this carrier. And in terms of using it as a carrier itself, I would say it's very comfortable to carry, whether you use the shoulder strap or the handles, and it fits the specifications for airline travel, which is fantastic. The only drawback is that it's definitely a bit small for a larger adult cat. My pleasantly plump 3 year old girl seemed to enjoy going in it, but I don't think it would be comfortable for her for longer periods. If you have an average-to-large-sized adult cat and don't need this carrier for airline travel, I would suggest getting the larger size. Otherwise, it's a solid purchase, well-made and offered in a variety of fun colors!

The good news is that we didn’t have any trouble meeting the size requirements for a carry-on on American Airlines. We had two flights, one from Bakersfield, CA to Phoenix, AZ and then another from Phoenix, AZ to Boise, ID and no one from the flight crew on either flight flagged us for size. With a bit of finagling the carrier was able to fit under the seat in front of us, and we had a little bit of leg room to spare. Additionally, my wife’s favorite color is lavender - or any variation thereof - so we really liked the color. The bag does fold up nicely when not in use and is relatively easy to use. The bag itself was pretty tough for us, as our cat absolutely LOATHES flying and threw a fit pretty much the entire time, and yet the mesh and zippers held up nicely. With all that being said, a few things that became a problem for us: 1) The removable floor piece. To be honest it didn’t feel terribly strong and when our cat was throwing the aforementioned fits and “tossing her cell” so to speak, this loose floor board became a VERY large problem. Our kitty managed to get herself wedged between the floor board and the wall of the bag which could not have been comfortable, and we are fortunate that she didn’t hurt herself. 2) The size of the bag is a pro, but also a con. When we first transported our cat she was about 9 weeks old and had a decent amount of space, but now that she is 6.5 months old she can barely turn around in the same bag. 3) The fabric walls can be a problem when your cat is fervently trying to escape. Her claws tore my ankles to shreds and it would have been nice if the material had been thicker or maybe even contained plastic plates or something hard. All in all, it was a very decent purchase with just a few minor concerns. Would definitely recommend to those who have small pets that don’t mind travel.

Good quality and easy to set up. My cat always refused to go into his cat carrier and having a top part to open is great, so we can just set him right in. He’s an adult cat, 11lbs, and he fits perfect. It’s a soft martial and he seems to like the insert. The adjustable strap is a good touch if your hands are full. It has one small pocket on the side for storage, but it’s fine if you’re taking some kibble or a tube treat to the vet with them. I would recommend.

I love these carriers. I bought one for each cat, as ours were old, mismatched, and some had broken door clasps. We have used them twice now during tornado warnings, as we have two cats we keep in a separate area of the house because they don’t get along with the rest of the cats. We simply put both cats in the carriers through the top openings, and they did not struggle at all, unlike with the old plastic ones. They were easy to carry, and I love the shoulder strap. Once we were all in the basement, we just set them to the side, and even with the other cats roaming around, they were calm the entire time. If I remember, I spray the fuzzy bottoms with Feliway spray, and I think that helps, but the time I forgot they were still calm while being put in, and during the time they spent in there (which is not usually the case!). If they were going to be in there for a longer length of time, I would add a small blanket. I saw a review that recommended wrapping the base with a waterproof pad, and thought that was brilliant. I would probably do that too, just in case. My daughter’s cat is almost 15 pounds, and although technically within the weight limit, it is clear he would not fit comfortably inside the small carrier. She already has a large, newer carrier for him, so he did not need one, which means I can’t comment on the larger size, but if your pet is near the weight limit, you may want to consider sizing up. In summary, these worked great with two feisty little hard to crate kitties (I was seriously amazed both times), and they were calm the entire time they spent in them. I initially only bought a couple to replace worn out old ones, but ended up buying one for each cat after I got them, because I liked them so much. I don’t care about color, and ordered whatever was cheapest from Amazon Resale, so we have a rainbow of colors, but they are all nice, exactly like the pictures, and it will make it easier to keep track of who is where.

I only have positive things to say about this carrier. For reference my cat is about 5.5 pound/ 7 months old. It's extremely spacious for him as he is a small slimmer breed and am confident anything around 10 pounds will fit comfortably. I've had it a little over 2 weeks and got it to take my cat to the vet for surgery. He did very well in it. As soon as I took the carrier out of the box he went right in and it's know one of his favorite napping spots. I would still recommend putting toys and playing with them while they're inside to cement positive associations as I did. Now whenever he's hyper or scared he runs in there which is comforting if I ever need to find him and run out of the house in case of an emergency. Despite being a soft carrier it's well ventilated and holds it's shape but is still foldable. It has plenty of openings for your cats preference and looks just as advertised, my camera just makes it look dull in color. The zippers can be stiff initially but with a bit of zipping and unzipping they loosen up. You can also strap it into a car seat by rapping the long shoulder handle over the head of the seat and buckling the carrier as you would a person with the cars seat belt. For extra safety there is also a small leash/clip thing to attach to your pets harness so they don't move/fling themselves side to side if you want to use. Probably just in case you make rough stops in your car or get into a crash.

I haven’t used this yet but I know it will be perfect. I have several Sleepy Pod carriers that are too small for my large cat so I had to resort to using an old, hard plastic carrier the other day to take my 17 lb cat to the vet and the weight of it nearly killed me trying to carry it. Plus, she refused to get out so I had to take the damn thing apart and then struggle to put it back together for the ride home. Once I returned home, I researched carriers for size and weight specifications and this seemed to fit the bill. This is the difference between night and day. It is well made, lightweight, airy and will be easy to transport her back from the vet after having dental surgery. I ordered the large so she will be comfortable and have plenty of room with good air flow for her trip home. So far, I couldn’t be happier…. I know she will be too when riding in it. The straps are comfortable along with everything else. Thank you for the perfect carrier!

Très joli, belle couleur, la anse permet d'attacher le sac au siège pendant le transport en voiture, se plie complètement une fois toutes les fermetures ouvertes et prend très peu de place une fois plié, à recommander!

It is spacious and seemes to be of good quality. It feels very sturdy in hand, but not bulky. Cats like it too.
