Does this polish work for wood finish?

Yes.. i use it fervently on my dreadnaught. Although mine has a clear coat like on top of the wooden grain.

How many uses can you get out of a bottle?

No simple answer. It would depend on how much is used, how dirty the instrument is,how big the instrument is, etc. I.E.: A new slightly smudged Tele,or a sweated on all over jumbo acoustic...
