Swan SK31040GRN Retro Kettle with Temperature Dial, 360 Degree Rotational Base, 3000 W, 1.5 liters, Grey

It is a medium-sized kettle creamy retro look. Easy on the eye. Boils quickly and switches itself off. This item is highly recommended for individuals with weak arms and fingers (those with disabilities). The kettle is lightweight, and when filled, it retains its lightweight nature. Noise level is a little higher than I would have liked, build quality is good, as it is durable, had it for years. Definitely value for money. Pray it continues to work.

This is a lovely kettle, part of the range of retro cream kitchen items from Swan. It goes nicely with other items that we have in the range, and looks really nice on the worktop. The outer case is metal at the top but plastic for the cream portion. It isn't very heavy which is nice, and it shows the temperature of the water on the gauge on the front.

My first criteria was high power rating - 3kW - and second the visual appearance. Both are fulfilled, this is quick kettle, looks good and thermometer is nice to have if you don't always need boiling water. However, overall feel is rather light and somewhat flimsy as all cream coloured external parts are plastic - resembles white chocolate. Blue led seems to be fashionable but in this case e.g. orange might have been more retro for an indicator light - see attached picture.

I really like the styling and colour of this kettle (and the other matching kitchen bits I bought to go with it); it has a nice feel to it, is lightweight with a good handle, the temperature gauge is a nice touch. Quiet boiling, good size, really pleased with every aspect of it

I was looking at this kettle for ages but the reviews where bad saying it was cheap but I decided to have a go and buy it it is absolutely gorgeous it doesn’t feel cheap at all and looks loveLy in the kitchen my sister and mum have since bought this kettle for theirs

I am amazed Swan put their name to this product. It is very poor quality throughout and it just looks hideous! It’s grossly overpriced I’m aware it’s 3Kw, so it does make a noise. I’m not too sure who would be staring at the temperature gauge while making a cup of tea, but hey! I would send it straight back, but it’s green, and it matches the handles on the fondue forks, so I’m told we have to keep it. I foresee in the near future, an event where it accidentally falls off the bench.

Kettle arrived on time but it was only in it original box no outer packaging to protect it so the lid has afew dents in it which didn’t really bother me as it is a lovely kettle, but straight away I noticed the base the kettle sits on the middle connector isn’t straight so when I put it on to boil after filling it I have to push the small round connector in the middle of the base until I hear it clip otherwise the kettle won’t work , so abit disappointing,i really should of sent it back but had no kettle so just kept it, shame as it is a lovely kettle they should of packed it correctly before sending it out as it had no protection .

Lovely retro design which matches other kitchen swan products The only thing that I’m not impressed with is that it spills from top when pouring into cup so always a puddle of hot water on side . Need to pour very slowly to avoid .

Belle bouilloire reçue rapidement mais la fiche électrique est anglaise. Il faut donc la changer ou avoir un adaptateur !
