Solid replacement for my beloved broken ipod
There’s little option these days for a simple MP3 device to take running. I wanted something simple and cheap to take running after my little square iPod nano stopped working from sweat damage (I know, gross). This little touch screen 📺 square does a solid job as replacement. There’s definitely a nod to The iPod interface, and you get most music options and an FM radio.I got the 16GB version for a lovely price and have around 1,800 songs on board. If you sync with something like MediaMonkey you can import your library and iTunes playlists to get straight into here with no fuss.Sound quality was fine, and over Bluetooth there was no different to my old device. So far I’ve done a couple of 10k’s with this clipped to my shorts and connected to Bluetooth. Pleased to say the connection has been faultless to my Jaybird X3’s and Sony ones too.Battery life seems sensible too. I haven’t exhausted a charge yet but have been going for a good 8 or so hours on BT so far. So looking good for me.All in all the build quality feels good, the device is a good size and weight. Happy I took a punt.Only one niggle, the user interface is a bit generic once you get past the splash front screen. Clicking on lists can be a bit fiddly. I’ve got big fat man fingers and reckon I get it first time around 9/10 times.

Very suitable and low cost replacement for the brand leader.
unpacking this you can see Benjie understand that the quality is not only in the product but in the first impression you get. the packaging is, in my opinion, much better than a clear plastic box! anyway, the unit arrived mostly charged so i plugged it in to my laptop, it was immediately recognised by "winamp" which is my "non-apple" go-to for my music library. i copied across a few old playlists that i used on my apple product and plugged in my trusty old Sony earphones. i started to play the first playlist and noticed that "the next expected track" was missing. i looked into this and saw that this Mp3 player only plays 7 music formats. this isn't going to be an issue for me as i can easily change the music so it will conform, but others may not be able to do this (or will be unwilling). the screen can be a little fiddly and, in direct sunlight, difficult to see but for most of the time i will be using this i will be using pre-loaded playlists so shouldn't need to check the screen. the sound quality through my old Sony's is prett much equal to the apple however, the volume is better (much better) !! it is Apples restrictions on their volume and their insistence on not offering a personal solution whereby individual users could make their own excess volume decisions has lead me to this replacement. the overall quality of the unit is good, heavier than the 6th gen nano but it is thicker and, the battery may last a little longer. this paired well with all of the bluetooth headphones and speakers i have and never missed a beat up to and marginally further than 10 Metres. the supplied little back clip and the wrist strap (not a watch strap!!) are useful, although i can imagine the strap would tear quite easily if caught. it's early days so far so if i experience issues i will update this review but, for "jo-public" who wants an affordable music player with good features, this is as good, sometimes better than the brand leader (however, musicians, music producers and the like may want to buy something a little more pricey!)i would recommend this product.

Really good little music device! A good price as well!
Brilliant little device to use just by dragging Mp3's folder etc. Nice sound and nice equalizer that comes with it.This chap is worth buying!! Really good price for what it gives you.The only thing is the earphones they give you from in the box, just toss them away and get yourself better earphones or headphones.

Not for outdoors.
The reason I have it two stars is because I couldn't use it outside. I'd bought it to use when jogging , but the signal to the earbuds (Bluetooth) breaks up. Tried two different types of earbuds but no joy. Shame really as the sound quality is so good.

Cool and small
Wow mp3 players got small, but I suppose that's the sign of the time, really very cool and the sound is amazing, I took a star off because it arrived and was set in a different language and I had to google how to change it

Great little gadget
Compact, stylish, great sound and pairs easily with my Bluetooth headphones. Loads of storage. All round great purchase for the price. I bought it to use for running. It comes with its own headphones which are great and a watch strap which you can insert it into or you can attach the clip onto your waistband. Can't fault it for the money

Not user friendly
Feels good quality but it is so clunky to use. Struggling to add songs, create playlists etc. It also struggles to connect with my wireless headphones (they work perfectly with iPhone). Shame. I like the styling.
