My hair has always been fine but I had plenty of it
I am post menopausal and in my 60's. My hair has always been fine but I had plenty of it. With age and hormonal changes I had noticeably thin areas on my crown. I was very self conscious of this and hated to go out on a windy day since this made my lack of hair very apparent. I have been using Women's Rogaine Foam for almost 6 months and I am thrilled with the difference this product has made in the regrowth of my hair. Even my hairdresser commented on the change. This is the first review that I have ever written but I felt compelled to do so because this is an amazing product. Thank you Rogaine!!

New hair did grow!!!
I have been using this product since 1/2015. I had female pattern balding in the front of my head. Hereditary. Now you cannot see through my hair to my scalp. I am very pleased with the results. However, you must use it everyday. The product does last. Only use the amount specified.

I've been using most mornings for four weeks. I do notice it's a little harder to find the thinning spots in the crown of my head to rub this in than it was a month ago. There does seem to be new growth. I'm also taking 2 Priorin pills each day as well which may or may not be skewing the results. Those are hair vitamins I bought in Switzerland. I do find it a bit of a nuisance to rub this into my hair when it's dry. I like to apply it to my damp scalp after a shower. I towel dry then put it on and rub it in, but I don't wash my hair every day when I shower so sometimes I have to put it on my dry scalp. Oh well. I would advice turning the bottle completely upside down before spraying the foam or only air will come out of the bottle.

It works.
The rogaine foam is great. Since I've been using it I lost a bald spot at the back of my head. I've filled in areas in the front. My dermatologist says my hair is firm when she pulls it. It is so easy to use just a small amount once a day and it's done. I know I will have to keep using it or my hair will not remain. Small price to pay for not going bald.

Good product but women's should be same price and strength as men's.
I don't know why there is a disparity between women's and men's rogaine. The women's either provides less % although women can now clearly use the 5% safely, but it costs more! The foam seems to provide more mousse body than the liquid, but it tends to fade my dyed hair faster. The liquid is actually easier to use once you figure out not to squirt it all on at once, but to take it through the hair while gently squeezing it onto the scalp.

I like it better than the liquid drops because the liquid just runs down the side of my head clear down to my neck. The foam only goes where you put it. Have only been using for a few weeks so no progress to report but the product itself is much easier to deal with than the liquid drops! Also like it because you only have to use it once a day. This is a way better deal than at my drug store.
