So cute and he roars quietly.

But an average it’s about the size of a beanie baby. It’s great for teaching kids about different animals.

Actually, rating would be 4-5 stars. I purchased this little lion to be a 'prop' with a costume. I needed to be able to carry it in one hand and this little fella, altho a wee bit smaller than I thought, is not only perfect, but adorable! It does make a roar when gently squeezed. The quality of roar is softer than I expected - not a 'ROAR', but a 'roar'. I can hear a tiny bit of reverberation, which was sweet. You do have to listen carefully.I introduced the little lion to our medium lab mix who sniffed with lackadasical attitude, but was spooked by its roar. She won't try to play/destroy it - just give it a wide berth. Overall for why I bought it, it is a keeper.

My brother bought this as a gift for my daughter since my daughter loves lions. She slept with it the first night and woke up and it stopped working. My brother had to open it up and realized it was installed incorrectly. He was able to fix it but that’s because he’s handy. If it was me, it would have stayed broken lol good gift if it works!

Reason I state this, is because upon seller video pitch, I was sold! Video demonstrated the sellers "realistic nature sound effects".Unfortunately, these wee not included fir a lil 4th Birthday add on to my granddaughter. Immensely disappointed.Unfortunately, the seller refused to replace, prior to sending original purchase back. I do understand this from their point. Stinks that seller couldn't empathize. My main reason for this (possibly unreasonable request) was that how the hell was I supposed to rip away a toy my grandchild sleeps with, and wait how long for replacement that may end up the same?!? Gurgly, muffled, screwed up attempt at growl toy, thats major selling point is the "realistic growl"Yes, size is small, not even any part of my beef. Listing states exact size.My beef is not just crappy sounding product, but additionally, the lack of seller communication and complete lack of compromise w return, considering.Would not recommend. Will never buy again. Disappointed.For those searching for the sane reasons I did, I'll dig up my video. It's embarrassing tho, the sucky semi growl attempt is awful. Really.

Good quality no doubt definitely my fault for not reading the size of the lion. Very small stuffed animal. Other than that very cute !
