Structural Design for the Stage

If you are into Physics, like really into it this is the book for you. Pretty much packed with equations without any real direct examples of structures we build in theatre. I was hoping to use this book in my Stagecraft class but it would be over the heads of almost every undergraduate. Unless you have great math skills this isn't the book for you.

Book content is GREAT! No complaints w/ the author(s) at all. The binding on this book is TERRIBLE!Teaching structures this semester and needed to upgrade to the current release. My original book from 20 years ago is holding up better than the new book. First day I opened it up pages started coming out of the book. Every time I use it more pages release from the binding.....brand new book. Less than a month old.....CRAP.

The book itself is fine. It’s a required class. But less than 2 months in the binding is breaking and the book is falling apart.

The book to have on Structural design for theatre.

This was purchased as a gift and I understand it has exceeded the expectations needed.

I thought it would be a designers book. Insted, its a book for engineers.
