Not sure how this happened?
Used according to the instructions. Spotted this melted bit on the bottom when was about to use again.Only used 3 times. The whole plastic around seems to melting with every use.Not recommended this to anyone as it is hazardous!!

Broken after first use
Firstly, I did not the original product delivered. However when I used it the first time the heating plate broke into the plastic (dangerous). Besides the temperature of the wax was too hot and could have burned my skin. As the plate is not temperature adjustable it defies its purpose. Horrible product.
User
very dangerous and not up to the job.
The plastic casing got very hot and melted so I had to throw it away after the first use as it was a fire risk. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Works well
I like how small and portable this is. I use a 250ml metal cup to melt wax and this works great for the brand that I use. Other wax warmers are too bulky, so I like how compact this is. It does take a while to heat up, so I recommend putting some tin foil on top of the metal holder containing the wax. I also recommend that you use tin foil directly on the warmer to act as a barrier between the warmer and the container. I spilled a bit of wax onto the warmer and it is really hard to clean and the wax got into the edges around the hot plate. Using tin foil will prevent this.

Makes waxing so much easier
I've been doing my own bikini/brazilian waxes at home for over a decade. In our current house, I've been keeping a busted up old microwave *just* for heating up wax. Heating wax has always been cumbersome, so I always wind up going between waxes far longer than I want to. When I use a microwave, the wax always comes out too hot, so I have to wait for it to cool and then I rush to finish before it gets TOO cool.I've been looking at reviews for warmers for a year. Ultimately, I chose this one because of the price (some others were close to $100) and because I've used (and still use) both Moom and Parissa wax for years. I was hesitant to buy this one because of the negative reviews, but I figured for $15, it wouldn't be a huge loss if I don't like it that much. Now that I have it and have used it, I'm really surprised at the negative reviews! I LOVE this thing and I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner! Yes, it takes awhile to warm up. I was prepared to give it time, having read the reviews. So I just planned ahead and set it up about 45 minutes before I wanted to start. Around the 35 minute mark, I probably could have used it, but I have it the extra 10 minutes. (I kept the lid on the wax container, thinking that might help hold the heat in and warm it more quickly. That seemed to work.) The wax jar itself never got too hot to touch or handle. The heat was PERFECT - the wax was warm and not burning hot. The best part is that I was able to wax without any rush because it stayed the same temperature and consistency throughout the entire process. I unplugged the warmer when I was done, let it cool off, and then tucked it away. I love the size, it's small enough to just tuck onto a shelf. I am THRILLED with this little thing!

Great wax warmer
This is a great wax warmer from a reputable company. I have only used it with Parissa’s hot wax and it does a great job. I’ve used the stove to warm the wax but this is more convenient because it’s cleaner and not messy. The wax would spill in the stove because I have to mix it and it cooled very quickly leading to back and forth trips to the kitchen. This warmer saves time and ads convenience. It’s small and portable too. I defiantly recommend.

Works with any wax, but don't spill
Pros:1) Works on other wax containers too (Sally Hansen and one other popular one that I can't remember) and even though the containers are made of slightly different material and shaped slightly differently, the warmer works.2) It keeps wax at good warm->hot temperature (not too hot and not too thick).3) Small, lightweight, affordableCons:1) If you spill on the warmer or the plastic surface, the wax (just like any kitchen/bathroom surface) will stick and is impossible to remove. There are tricks to removing this wax but they work on hardwood surfaces; but not on plastic (and definitely not on the warmer/black surface. That will scratch.)2) Warmer scratches easily and you can see white marks on the black surface, but it doesn't stop the warmer from working optimally! :)
