Excellent case, especially for the money. I purchased instead of an Otterbox Defender, to be utilized on an LG G3 phone. I had the Otterbox on an LG G2 phone for the year previous, so I can make an accurate comparison between the two, especially since the dimensions and features of the two phones are so similar in regards to how the cases function. 1. The SupCase is a two piece construction, and the OtterBox is a 3 piece construction. The SupCase does not come with a belt holster/clip, but I never used the one my OtterBox came with. 2. The Otterbox case is softer and slightly rubbery. The SupCase is harder and slicker, although there is plenty of texture for secure grip. 3. The port covers on the SupCase are far superior to those on the Otterbox. The way the covers functioned on the Otterbox, and the entire bottom part of the case that involved the USB and Mic port was really poorly done. The SupCase has snap covers that positively lock down. 4. The OtterBox offered better protection to the buttons on the back of the LG's case (the G2 and G3 feature buttons on the back of the case instead of sides or front). The SupCase leaves them exposed completely. 5. Both cases feel solid, but the SupCase does it with less bulk. It is a far better case for pocket carry. I know from personal experience that the OtterBox will protect from severe falls and impact. Only one way to find out with the SupCase, and that is to wait for an accident. 6. The screen protector function well on both, and does not interfere with usage, 7. The SupCase was not difficult to install, contrary to some reviews. If you have never utilized an OtterBox, it may seem hard. But if you can take an OtterBox off a phone, the Sup Case is a bit easier. 8. Sup Case, for half the price, is the better choice in my opinion.

In short: This case is 100% of the quality and protection you would get from an Otterbox Defender, all at half the cost. I work as a Paramedic, so my phone goes through hell and back as part of a normal day. The fit and finish is excellent. The phone fits snugly with no wiggle or play. Once the case is on it feels like part of the phone. The case feels strong and substantial in your hand without feeling bulky or heavy. The grip texture is good and nothing about it feels cheap. Most important is the protection. In the past two weeks this phone has been dropped repeatedly from 3-6 feet, had a 25 kilogram cardiac monitor dropped on it, and had a stretcher with an 80kg patient rolled over it. There isn't so much as a scuff anywhere. It still looks new. The plastic screen protector is not bad. The fit is perfect so there is no change to the touchscreen sensitivity. It does pick up fingerprints pretty eagerly. Fortunately, this is an easy fix. The plastic film is only held it by a little weak glue. It will easily come off of the case with a light push. At that point you are free to place whatever glass screen protector you like and put the phone back in the case. It will still fit perfectly. Again, if you aren't a DIY kind of person, the plastic screen that it comes with is just as good as a plastic screen protector that sticks to the screen. The installation is not difficult. I can only imagine that other reviewers are doing it wrong. It took me about 10 seconds. Take the front piece out, the phone clips snugly on to it, then place it in to the case back, That's it. I could not be happier. The only thing Otterbox has that this case lacks is the name "Otterbox."

I don't really write reviews, but here I go. I am a mom of two and work in a tough field. I need a phone case that would withstand the antics of my children and withstand industrial elements. I had been looking at this case for a good long while before purchasing. From the picture, I think I imagined something totally different than what I got once I purchased it, but not necessarily in a bad way. I guess I thought it would be grippy-er. I thought it would be really bulky. I thought it would be too masculine. But it looked tough, which I needed. I bit the bullet and bought the white because I have the white G3. Pros: This is a really good case. The Unicorn Beetle label is random and odd, but I think it's cool, unique, and looks good on the phone. The overall appearance of the phone case is not nearly as masculine as I thought it would be. It's actually a lot smaller (more streamlined) than I imagined it would be. It is perfectly unisex...lol. This thing looks like it could take a beating, and still protect the phone. The materials are more plasticky, less grippy than I thought, but it still feels comfortable and secure in my hand. There are grips on the sides, but I thought it would be more...I don't know...soft and grippy. So far, no problems with the cutouts, they seem to be perfect. No one has complained about the sound of my voice (like being in a tunnel or under water). It seems that the mic cutouts are well in place. It fits snugly on the phone, and it appears to be really tough. And that's about as far as I got...I will update when I have used it for a while. Con 1: The built-in screen protect is just "eh". I didn't like it, and I wanted something with a little more protection on the screen. (Such a tough case should have a tough screen protector) I went ahead and bought a tempered glass screen protector, removed the built-in one, and the case fits perfectly against the glass screen protector. Note: I just dropped my phone and cracked the screen :-( and now that I have my replacement, I am not letting that happen a second time! Con 2: Many reviewers say this thing is stupid hard to put on and take off....it's true. Watching the video made me feel like an idiot weakling (and I'm neither) because they made it look so easy, and it's really not...lol. The first, second, and maybe third time was a beast to separate the outer shell from the inner shell. I have messed with it a few more times, and it does get easier, but the first 3 times...I almost said "eff it". Perseverance is the key. I justified the difficulty with the fact that it should be hard to get on and off because that means the phone is protected, right? Con 3: This one has nothing to do with the case itself, but more of a superficial con. I believe I made a poor choice by selecting the white. I think I should have gone with a different color, because it appears the white likes picking up stuff. I'm not a pink kind of girl. The blues were OK, but not my favorite. Black is boring. The green/gray combo screamed teenage boy or raver to me. So I was left with white. I was really hoping for a frosted metallic or a more grayish white, but it's white with a gray border. It looks really nice, but I just don't know for how long. I really want a phone case that protects from the elements, but compliments my style too. I would like more color choices if possible, and if this thing came in more interesting schemes or just more colors in general, I would be completely thrilled, and for this price, I would purchase more. All in all, I am a totally satisfied customer. 4 Stars, and keep up the great work!

Great Tough case! I tried another basic one piece case and returned at as it didn’t seem to offer much protection and the fit was not good. This case fits the phone perfect and provides a lot of protection. You can just tell by holding your phone that it’s going to be ok if you drop it. I hike and jog a lot holding my phone, so this gives me piece of mind in case I drop it. Better yet the case adds much needed grip to your phone, so it is less likely to slip out of your hand. Install was easy and there is a video if you need it. I pulled phone out of the case once and that took a little work, so you know this case is not going to pop off on a drop. The included built in screen protector is just ok, it works and is a hard plastic so your finger does slide ok, not like the soft sticker ones. However there are some small dots and things you notice when phone display is off, but screen on it’s ok. However I have a Tech Amor glass screen protector on there, so I just popped out the one that came with the case. Was not hard, basically just push it out from the back before install. It fits perfect with the glass screen protector. The charge and headphone plug covers are very nice, fit tight but not hard to open, and all my plugs fit just fine. Adds a little size to the phone, but it’s worth it in my opinion. Company even followed up with email to make sure I was happy. Highly recommend this case!

I felt this was the perfect case, until I received my Qi charging receiver. Pros: + Made of TPU material, which will not stretch out like other cases made of silicon. + Durable, providing tons of protection between your phone and anything it might be dropped onto. + Grips well and feels good in the hand. The curved back helps maintain a comfortable grip. + Raised enough to prevent any damage to the vulnerable camera lens. Cons: - - Qi wireless standard allows for a max 5mm (~0.2inch) distance between the charger and Qi receiver. The raised back (with company logo) and slight hump on the interior rear of the case exceed this. I'm having problems maintaining a steady Qi connection with my (genuine, direct from company) Tylt Vu charger. Phone stops wireless charging and then alerts me to reposition it, then reconnects. After repeated placements that involve me holding the phone forcefully against the charger, I can occasionally get a solid connection. This defeats the purpose of wireless charging. Case would be perfect if back was made slightly thinner to accommodate the current Qi specifications. - Installed screen protector is poor. Would be a much better case if protector wasn't pre-installed. Protector can be removed, but the glue residue is nearly impossible to completely remove. Neutral: = The rigidity of the TPU material combined with the plastic housing that fits over the phone's frame can be a tight fit for some thicker glass screen protectors. If I push down on plastic frame (instead of the phone's screen) to seat the phone into the TPU back, I noticed that I see some backlight bleeding in some areas of the screen. A thinner glass screen protector would be best, but careful seating minimizes the issue. Overall: I'd highly recommend this case to anyone not concerned with Qi charging. If using with a Qi receiver, charging might be an issue (or an annoyance). The latter crowd might be best served by buying a thinner case until the new Qi specifications, which allow a charging distance of 40mm, roll out to consumers.

I ordered this phone case for my new LG G3 with the thought that I wanted to keep the phone extremely well-protected at an affordable price. After reading through dozens of various phone case reviews on amazon I settled on this one because of the high praise it received. It arrived promptly and I was immediately impressed with the quality of the material. It came with a youtube URL which directs you to a video which shows you how to assemble the cell phone. The video was very useful and after some practice I can assemble the phone myself now in less than a minute. Some reviewers say that the phone case is difficult to remove but I would advise using a credit card or similar material to wedge between the softer outer layer and the tougher inner layer. Normally when I have ordered cell phone cases in the past in this same price range they have never had the same combination of style and protection that this phone case offers. The case also comes with a covers for the usb port and headphone jack. For all those with large headphones that have large jacks no worry - this case took that into account and will adequately fit headphone jacks of all sizes. The only possible con I can say about the phone is that it adds a little bit of additional bulk to the phone that takes some time to get used to. Also the screen protector that comes with the phone is not great quality but it was complimentary so it is hard to complain about that. It is also removable so I will probably be replacing it with a higher quality one soon. I have not dropped my case yet (knock on wood) but I have little doubt that my case would sufficiently protect my phone if that were to happen. For those looking for a case in this price range I cannot recommend this case enough - just don't expect too much from the screen protector.

Two parts comprise the case; the inner part easily snaps onto the phone and the assembly is stretched into the outer cover. The seam is located on the face, not the sides. I had no difficulty at all installing the phone into the outer case. You need not be afraid of bending the outer case edges over the inner assembly; it's quite durable. I also purchased the "PThink 2.5D Round Edge 0.3mm Ultra Slim Nano Tempered Glass Screen Protector." The screen protector that comes with the case is reported to cause a rainbow effect in various lighting conditions - it is easily removed if so desired (I took it out). The case fits perfectly over the phone with the new screen protector installed. The assembly looks and feels great. The case adds little bulk or weight and actually feels better in my pocket - the phone without the case slides out of my pocket a little too easily. I find it easier to hold as well. I also noticed no difference in the user interface with the NEW screen protector installed. All of the holes in the case line up perfectly with the phone and the covers over the USB and earphone jacks are very snug (they will keep dust out). They do require a little effort to open as a consequence of the nice fit. As others have said, the raised face of the case nicely protects the screen if you place the phone face down. I found no negatives other than a lack of instructions. The vendor could print something on the outside of the packaging to at a minimum show that the parting line is along the face of case. I'm very pleased with form, fit, and function. Nice product.

I just got my G3 and ordered this case right away. I have always used Otterbox but I wanted something slimmer with such a big phone. This case looked like it would be a great alternative, and it is. The case comes in two pieces, a hard plastic piece that includes the screen protector, and a (very) slightly softer piece that covers the back and fits around the first piece. Some reviews say that it is tough to put on, and it is a little hard, but nothing ridiculous. Once it was on the phone felt very nice and solid. Everything lined up perfectly and it actually doesn't add a whole lot of bulk. The port covers (charger and headphone jack) are stiff, and I have a concern that they will break with regular use. The screen protector is not great. It attracts a lot of fingerprints (more than the actual screen does!) and there is a weird pattern that you can see at certain angles (some people are seeing a rainbow hue as well). It also seems to be affecting the accuracy of the "knock on" feature. I am going to place an order for a thin screen protector and remove the one attached to the case (I might even just remove it now; that's how bad it is). The screen protector is really the only reason this isn't a 5 star review. Overall this is a great case at a great price. You definitely don't need to spend the extra money on an Otterbox. Just be aware of poor screen protector and look into purchasing a separate one.

Love this case. I have had it for two years and have dropped my phone so many times and it's in perfect shape. I actually just bought this for the second time cause I thought it was time for a new case and I could not find a better one. Also came packaged well and in perfect condition.

Tres bonne qualite, tres tres gros protection et de belle facture, mais un peu encombrant (comme prévu de ma part) ne oubliez pas que cette coque est "rugged", Il y'a des autres plus styles mais avec moins protection. J'avais lu que la protection d'écran c'est pas bonne.... Ils est très très bonne, il s'ajuste très bien et réponds a touche avec précision. Rien a dire en contre.

Hey das ist meine erste Rezension. Ich hab mir die LG G3 Hülle von SUPCASE gekauft, weil ich diese beim Suchen nach einer Hülle fand und es mir gefiel, dass diese einen Rundumschutz bietet, da ich doch meine Handy oft ausversehen fallen lasse. Diese Hülle hat mich des öfteren davor bewahrt, dass was passiert. Nachdem Sie bei mir eine Zeit lang nicht angezeigt wurde hab ich mir die Hülle gekauft, obowohl im "englischen" Amazon viele negative Bewertungen zu finden sind. Auch hier im "deutschen" Amazon sind viele Kommentar wie "Ich kriege mein Handy wohl nie wieder aus der Hülle" oder so ähnliches. Dieses "Problem" habe ich nicht. Mit ein wenig Grips und Muskelschmalz kann man sein Handy schnell aus der Hülle holen und auch wieder einsetzen. Ich bin von der Hülle vollends überzeugt, da dieses jetzt schon mehrere Stürze mitgemacht hat und die Macken und Krazter am Case (!!) nur minimal sind bzw. so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Durch die Hülle steigt natürlich das Gewicht und die Größe des Handys, was man aber getrost in Kauf nehmen kann da man sich da sehr schnell dran gewöhnt und ich finde, dass es nicht schlimm ist wenn es bulliger wirkt aber so auch mehr Schutz bietet. Ein Punkt der bei dieser Hülle häufiger angesprochen wird ist die Folie, welche dein Display schützen soll. Ich konnte bei meiner Hülle folgende Fehler oder Mängel an dieser Folie entdecken. - Regenbogeneffekt (bei kippen oder nicht direktem Blick auf Folie gab es einen nervigen Effekt der aussah wie schon gesagt ein Regenbogen) - Staubmagnet (beim ersten anlegen der Hülle kam immer wieder Staub aufs Display) - unstabil (beim ersten auseinander nehmen um das Handy einzulegen geknickt) Persönlich hab ich jetzt kein Problem mit der Folie gehabt, allerdings ist diese bei mir auch nach kurzer Zeit "rausgebrochen" und somit ist jetzt keine mehr drin. Ein weiterer Mangel der mir aufgefallen ist, ist dass bei mir die linke obere Ecke absteht und somit sehr viel Staub unter das Gehäuse kommt. Damit habe ich aber kein Problem da ich mein Handy grundsätzlich ein bis zwei mal mindestens aus der Hülle nehme und die Hülle reinige.

I just received this case and have fitted it on. It's extremely sturdy, has a solid feel to it and also provides good rubber grip. It pretty much covers the entire phone, leaving cut outs for the sensors along the top of the phone and the speaker on the back. There are covers that you pull to the side to uncover the charging and earphones ports. The screen is fully covered as well. There are a few reviews where people have complained about the touchscreen not working due to how the case covers it, but so far I haven't experienced any issues - it works perfectly fine. I haven't tested a drop, but I'm confident that the case will do more than enough to protect the phone. I'd strongly advise to watch the YouTube video (link provided in packaging) to see how to install the case. It's certainly not a normal installation, and therefore are quite a few videos of people struggling on YouTube already! On the whole, I'm very happy with this case for the sturdiness it provides. Yes, it does add a lot of bulk to the phone. If you want to keep the slim form factor of the G3, then this case is not for you. If you don't mind the bulk, then this will provide great protection for your phone.
