These are amazing and fun! I have purchased one for myself and one for my manga-loving daughter. They are great for practicing ink drawing and characters. They have an old-school feel that I found very appealing. I love these!

This product is beautiful and gives a lot of value for the money. The brush alone is worth the price. I bought it to practice watercolor brush strokes and Sumi-e, but I know someone who purchased it to help a child with learning disabilities. Anything you might want to practice for painting or writing - very fun!

This is a wonderful product for a toddler to practice painting without the mess of paints. It looks beautiful on my wall too when not in use. My only complaint is that the ends of the scroll pop off sometimes when bumped. Not a deal breaker but it is a little annoying. For the price and purpose I like it.

I’m impressed. This water activated paper works great. The set came with everything you need (except water of course) and is easy to wrap up to a scroll tube thing if you want to take it somewhere. The mark left by the brush when wet is dark and perfectly emulates ink.Next, just leave it out to dry and it’s back to white paper.Ive tried several water activated type things, mostly for young kids (so they can ‘paint’ with water, and this one is far superior to all the other ones. The others tend to have a lot of color bleed through even when dry (kind of like tracing paper over a colorful drawing). This in contrast looks much closer to the intended white when dry. Not perfectly white, but better than then rest by far.

I bought one mat for each child for them to practice brush drawing. Being able to practice our techniques without going through paper and paint is just wonderful. I also love the easy clean up and the way each mat can be stored. These have been such a fantastic addition to lessons. The brush that comes with each set of mats is nice, but our brushes are better. We are very happy with the size of each mat and that one has grids for us to be specific with our strokes. We highly reccomend these mats!

I purchased this as a gift for my students and it was a huge success! My students love using this calligraphy set to practice writing characters. The quality is great and I would definitely purchase again!The only issue I had was missing calligraphy pens from some sets. I contacted customer service and they remedied the situation right away.

Awesome design and addition for any Chinese culture lover. Although in practicality I found an issue... if you are not gentle, your writing on cloth may be permanent. Wish they were more forgiving. Great idea though!

I love this, it works amazing. I am so excited to practice my calligraphy with this, everything came perfectly and in great shape. The brush is also good, although it is a bit streaky but it still works nicely. Definitely a good purchase if you are just learning Chinese Calligraphy.
