My 3.5 year old son loves helping in the kitchen and cutting his own fruit up, so I knew we needed to get him some kid-friendly knives to do so. These knives have knocked it out of the park! They are SUPER sturdy and cut like a real knife without the risk of injury! The grip on the end makes it easier for his little hands to hold, along with being lightweight. I highly suggest these knives if you are wanting some for your kiddo!I have several other Zulay products in my kitchen, so we soon as I saw they made kid knives, I immediately bought this brand. Zulay makes the BEST products and has incredible customer service as well. I have not been disappointed by any of their products!!

My 2 year old wanted to “cut” anytime we were preparing food. We keep our knives up and away from him. But it was getting difficult to do anything in the kitchen because he wanted a knife too!He loves his knife! So far only the smallest one has been given to him. It’s s good size for him. At first he was not strong enough to do much with it. After a week of dedicated knife work he mastered his knife skills. Cucumbers apples, bread, tortillas, cheese, watch out here comes a little boy with a knife!!!We keep this knife on the counter where he can easily reach it on his own. He knows it’s his and goes for it when he wants to “cut” and will get a cutting board and an apple and proceed to slice and dice and eat the apple. He loves doing it on his “own”Very happy to have found this knife and it is a truely safe knife. Cuts fruit and vegetables and pancakes and french toast and tortillas but won’t cut flesh. I tried sawing back and forth on the back of my hand no cutting whatsoever.If you have a mobile child that is after your knives and scissors this plastic knife is a great alternative for little hands!!!

These knives are fantastic! My littlest grandson, who is only three years old, has cutting cantaloupe down perfectly. No cuts or injuries to little fingers, just easy learning tool for the youngest chefs.

Sturdy and safe

Picked this set up for our elderly mom with some hand weakness. She was getting concerned with possibly nick, cutting herself cutting prep meal. After checking through a lot of different knives and having a culinary background I watched the videos for the Zulay with kids using them. I was really glad there were multiple videos to see how they worked with hand coordination limits etc. I purchased the 3 pc Zulay set and YES they work. Mom was literally amazed at slicing a tomato, not smashing it, Cutting up cubing, quartering apples, fruit etc. And rolls, breads. Ciabattas were easy for her cut in half & slice open for sandwich. So, don't limit them to children only, But I really would have been happy if they had these available years ago for our kids when little. They're durable, no point, wash easily and ergonomic fit for hand stability for an adult with special needs or your Junior Chef learning early valuable life skills. Great item. Fantastic low price $8.59 w tax from Prime and SAFE, actually work. I've tried them out, 3 different size for multiple size needs.

My kids love to cook with me. Great for cutting. Plus safe so they can’t cut themselves but still able to cut through food. My kids are 2 and 5.

This knife is sharp enough to cut the food but still safe for kids to use and practice. It’s also a light weight choice to bring along during short trip if you need something to cut food but don’t what to have a very sharp and pointy knife.

These little knives work great and are safe to carry. I used one at a birthday party to slice cake. I bake brownies in a nice metal pan and these knives work well and don't scratch the surface. It was a deal of the day and a very good price.
