Be careful with the size that you order. This was my first time ordering as the system is new. I went by the model number of my Electronic Air Cleaner not the model of the part. I am usually very careful with my orders but did not realize that two sizes are available for the same EAC number F300. There is not a clear explanation in the description of the product. I ordered the wrong size and was responsible for the return shipping as well as the original shipping cost. Of course when I ordered the correct part I had to pay for shipping again. The corrected size works and fits great! It is a genuine Honeywell part.

Very high quality, I have installed a set on my heating, cooling system with an electronic air cleaner, because I am concern that the Honeywell Electronic Cleaner is not doing an efficient enough job. The Honeywell Post Filter is working extremely well, because I do not see any dust on the filter as of yet. We have one cat and my wife runs and operates a Day Care out of our home. So I guess the electronic cleaner is doing its job and very well, and yes I would purchase again, however they are somewhat expensive, in around thirty-five dollars, online.But they are worth the money, at least these are, but I will try and vacuum the filters at least twice before buying another new one. Unless it does get dirty, after having it for about five or six months now, during the summer and air conditioning running season I have not notice much dust. Great for peace of mind, these filters are electronic magnified to trap more dirt, almost like our Electronic Air Cleaner.

Anyone w/ allergies would especially benefit from the whole house filter system. - I will attempt to extend the life of this filter by routinely deep cleaning with high - powered vacuum. :DMake sure to use a pre-filter as well as the post filter.Also you may inquire to the manufacturer if there is a 'pre-filter' for your "pre filter".While you're at it you may wish to ask about a 'post filter' for the "post filter"...Very high quality filter. Having just serviced the home furnace, I'm reminded of the electrostatic charge that the filter comes with from the factory. It might be fair to say that this filter loses some effectiveness over time, as the static charge diminishes . . . . . or maybe the air cleaning unit itself continuously charges the filter. Anyways, when the filter gets filthy, it'll get replaced.

After having filtration issues using just the screen-type prefilter on my Honeywell electrostatic system I sought a post filter to improve trapping of particulates. My HVAC vendor wanted over $60 for these filters. Purchasing via Amazon was much more cost-effective and the direct shipping from the vendor was fast and reasonable. I'll be doing the same when it comes time for replacements!Although electrostatic air filtration is known for increased removal of invisible airborne smoke, pollen etc, their downside is less effective removal of dust and particulates. The visible dust level in my home has significantly decreased using these filters in addition to the prefilter and electrostaic cells.

The item is not blue. It is a silver mesh with white. Does that matter? I don’t know yet. The part number is the same. The literature enclosed in the shrink wrap says the size of the two pieces are the same. And the literature says it is correct replacement for the model number of my electronic Honeywell air cleaner.I didn't like the fact that the frame on each post filter was bent or crushed. The deciding factor was “would it slide into the furnace tracks”? It did.I am rating this a 3 overall for the dents and one because it wasn’t the same as pictured in the for-sale offering. I will increase that to a four if it performs over time.

I purchased this 2 pack to replace the post filters in my father-in-law's electrostatic unit on his furnace. He didn't realize there were 2 of these in the opening and had only been dealing with the front set, so the back one was completely caked with dirt. These fit perfectly into the slot to cover his 16x25 opening. This was the best price I could find anywhere.

I didn't even realize my furnace was missing these filters! I bought these and placed them in my furnace, and have been surprised by how much dirt and dust was making it past the other filters this whole time. Very happy with this purchase!

Other than only receiving one filter instead of two, the filters seem great. Also the supplier immediately sent us another package - this time containing the required two filters. No questions asked.
