Best Electric Shaver Ever!!!
Best electric razor I have ever owned, and reasonably priced also. I originally got this shaver to use for quick, evening "touch-up" shaves, or for days when I was in an extreme hurry and didn't have time for a blade shave. However, I was surprised to discover that this shaver actually shaves closer than my triple-blade razor does. Therefore, I often use the Braun shaver instead of a blade, although sometimes I will shave with a blade and then use the Braun M90 afterwards to get an even closer shave, especially where it really matters. I find that it is much easier to shave the part of my top lip that is under my nose with this Braun shaver than it is to shave it with the blade razor. Some people have stated in reviews here that the shaving foil is not very durable, but I don't find that at all. Of course, if you drop it a lot with the protective cover off, then I'm sure that it could be easily damaged. But then again, if someone were to drop YOU on your head with no helmet on, then I'm sure that you would be damaged also. I really love that this razor runs on common AA batteries, rather than a rechargeable battery (since those old special rechargeable batteries wore out quickly and are difficult to find replacements for.) I have been using this shaver a lot, for months now, and I still have not even had to replace the batteries yet. I would highly recommend this shaver, especially to people who think that they won't like an electric shaver. By the way, you can also use this razor wet (and can clean it in water also, if you want to), but this is unnecessary, since it works really great as a dry shaver. This shaver is also small and lightweight, so it is also great for travel or for shaving on the go (such as at work, or otherwise away from home.) The handy sideburn trimmer that pops out of the side and the cleaning brush that pops out of the bottom of the unit are also great bonus features included with this model.

Great Little Shaver
Amazon says I have bought this shaver several times now. That is over many of years, but that's still embarrassing. I should be more careful, but it is my regular shaver, my travel shaver, and the shaver I carry in my "purse". The problem is that when using it on-the-fly I drop it. Or, most recently, I lost it. (I think I set in on top of my suitcase at the airport and when the taxi pulled up I forgot it was there, rolled away with my bag, and it fell to the curb without my noticing. Not sure, but that's my best guess.) Pros: - It works well. - Small. - Uses 2 AA cells, which are replaceable, so the whole shaver does not need to be replaced if the battery won't hold a charge. And if the batteries are dead, swapping in good ones is faster than waiting for a charge. - Has a trimmer. - Has a real off switch, no phantom drain of the battery when it is supposed to be off. - Won't switch on accidentally if it gets squeezed in your bag. - Foil is covered to protect it, and the cover stays attached so you won't lose it. - Fairly tough for normal use, but don't drop in the street while walking down the sidewalk shaving. (Yes, that's me.) - Decent price. Cons: - There is a cleaning brush that has a parking place but isn't that secure, it can get lost; but I never use it, I blow out the chaff myself and that seems good enough. - A bigger/better trimmer might be nice, but too big and it no longer works as a trimmer, so this is probably a stupid quibble. - Does not come with rechargeable battery nor a charger. But rechargeable AAs are available, and if you already have a charger (I do) that avoids yet another wall-wart power supply to keep track of. - A bigger, more powerful shaver might clear my face faster, but this one works well and small is a feature. I use quality rechargeable NiMH cells, and I charge them in a better charger than what might be built into a shaver. The result is they charge individually and never get overcharged, so I don't ever *need* to replace them, because they keep holding a charge. The swinging thing that covers the shaving foil might seem silly, but it isn't. It covers the foil, protecting it and it locks the switch from accidentally turning on. I could imagine a design that might be smaller, but the current size fits my hand pretty well, and the cover not being a loose item to misplace is a good thing. If I were traveling really light, and on a long trip, carrying spare AAs or carrying a charger might be too much. So that's a consideration. I suppose I could buy disposables along the way, but I hate disposables. Good shaver, I keep buying them, not because they fail but because I keep losing them, or destroying them through abuse. Recommended. -kb

Great Shaver, Good Price... Bad sub-vendor
I found this Braun M90 moobile shaver to be powerful and usable in quick situations. It does not grab or nick your face, gives a decent smooth shave, good battery length and motor power, and handles a day's beard growth well. It fits into a car tray or briefcase well. The battery compartment was redesigned (previously known as the P-70)to prevent it from opening and spilling out the batteries. The side trimmer is OK, being short and at an odd angle, not like previous Braun shavers I boght a few years ago. I recommend this item. But... be careful who you buy it from. There are secondary merchants who sell these items through Amazon.com, and while you may trust Amazon, you should not trust these secondary vendors! These secondary vendors may offer a low-price, but that price may not get you a delivery of the right product! Their idea of business is to make money to ship you what you did not order, and expect you to ship the wrong product back to them, while offering a 10% discount on a substitute product. It seems that this kind of practice indicates one thing: They are only in the business to make money by shipping the wrong products, if in fact they ship anything at all. The verification that came from Amazon.com said the product was shipped, and my credit card was charged. However, that was not the case. The UPS number was false because the product was actually "out of stock" and never shipped. But, false information was sent to Amazon by this vendor, and my credit card was charged. Check the internet feedback to learn who these vendors are. My advice to Amazon.com is: "Screen your vendors... or I will stop buying products from you."

I almost like it better than far more expensive elect razors I've owned.
Awesome little razor. Shaves clean and gets the area between the nose and lip where much more expensive razors don't fit well. Even has a trimmer. Perfect for travel.

Stops working after a few months.
I did not realize I was buying this Braun Razor from Amazon. I bought one on May 31 of 2025 and it died in less than a year. I bought another one on February 18 of 2026 and it has since died also. I only used these Razors when I traveled. They both died the same way. They would work when I first got them and then after a few months later the motor stopped working. I checked the batteries and even tried new ones after it stopped working and nothing. I have to agree with another one-star rating on this razor. Braun is not what it used to be. I will be looking for another brand. So far, the Braun name has cost me $ 80!

OK For Travel...But I Appreciate My Rotary Razor Even More Now
Whether you will like this nifty little razor really comes down to your own personal preference. If you already use a foil razor, you will like this just fine. If you're a rotary razor kind of guy, then it may not work for you. For normal day-to-day, I am a long time user of a 3-head rotary head razor. I bought this because I wanted something more portable for travel. I used it for 2 weeks straight during my vacation. While I was able to make it work, it doesn't do as well for me as the rotary razor. Things I like: * Very portable, full-function razor. It was a substantial device even given its small size. * AA battery operated (no charging cord required). After 2 weeks, the batteries were still going. * Mini beard trimmer works in a pinch for touch ups. I wouldn't rely on it for detailed manicuring or full on beard length trimming, though. Things I didn't * Doesn't do well when hairs curl/bend or are otherwise matted against your face. Seemed to only handle short hairs that stick straight out. This is where my rotary razor far exceeds this one. * Couldn't skip a day shaving due to the above issue. Also, it took me 2 to 3 times longer to shave than I'm used to at home. * No cover for razor head to contain shavings. This will spill everywhere in your suitcase. You'll want to keep this in a ziploc bag or similar.

This shaver is like a work of art.
This Braun shaver is really nice. I wanted a second Braun shaver to have at work. The batteries that are included are very powerful, and make the shaver run at high speed. I wanted it to run a little slower so I put in some EBL rechargeable batteries. They work perfectly in the shaver. This shaver is easy to hold and turn on/off, has high quality, and produces a smooth shave. Just press lightly and move the head slowly. That works for me. With its DC motor, the shaver will slow down a little as the batteries lose power. This is great, because it will still work, but lets you know to replace or recharge your batteries soon. One reason I like it to run slower is because the volume of motor noise is less. It's not overly loud. I've not tried the trimmer yet, but it slides out easily. Then to get it back in, you stop the shaver and look for the ridges on the trimmer just behind the trimmer blades, and push down and to the left to slide it back into place. You could push right on the trimmer blades as long as your fingers are protected. My other Braun works perfectly, and I still got this second one because I like them so much.

Exceeds Expectations
This is a really beautifully designed product with extraordinary attention to detail. It works almost as well as shavers that cost 5x as much, and has so many thoughtful little features to it. Indeed, if you didn't mind the need to buy disposable batteries constantly, you could probably use this as your every day electric razor, it is better than a number of electric razors I've owned in the past. Start with the cover for the blade. Of course, a foil head shaver is fragile, and that thin foil could be easily damaged in transit. This has a clever cover that locks securely into place to protect the shaver, but the cover then swivels out of the way easily yet remains permanently attached to the shaver so you can't lose it. Then there is the power switch, carefully recessed into the body so it doesn't stick out, and requiring just enough firm effort to make sure it won't accidentally turn on in your luggage. And there is a little cleaning brush that locks securely into the base, and a tiny little pop out trimmer that works surprisingly well when you really need one, despite its extremely small size. It is a single head, but it gives a very good shave, and the disposable battery lasts quite a long time between changes. Even the decision to run on common batteries is brilliant, it means you don't ever need to worry about a charging cord, foreign plug adapters and all of that stuff. Finally, if you should ever lose it while traveling, it is going to be cheap to replace. About the only thing I don't like about it is that you kind of have to keep track of how much you have used it and when you should replace the batteries (or do as I do and bring a spare set with you when I know I'm getting close to the end of the line). There is no easy way to figure out how much is left in the disposable batteries, there is no way to tell if you are close to needing new ones. And because it uses alkaline batteries, you should probably pull them out of the shaver if you travel infrequently. But those are minor gripes at best. Mine has now traveled many many thousands of miles successfully, and it is a true friend to the road warrior. I wish more products were made as well as this thing is. It is a tremendous value.

Keine 10 mm langen Haare...

Must have in your go bag!
For the price of this little gem you can't beat it! I have the 7 and Braun 9 series pro. I leave the 7 at the cottage and 9 at home. Surprised, used the 9 pro today and it's fast and works really good but it's 350.00. After using the best I used this to tidy up. To my surprise it found a lot of missed whiskers and took the fuzz off of my ears! I'm in no way affiliated but I'm ordering one for everyone for Xmas. Two more for me. No joke you will be so disappointed in your expensive ones. I am.

It's cheap so I thought it would be bad quality - but it's fantastic!
I normally wet shave but there are times when I simply don't have time and if you need to look respectable you just can't turn up with stubble (unless it's "designer" and that's not me). I bought from a certain auction website an inexpensive electric razor but it really didn't do the job and the rechargeable battery expired within a year so it is now in the bin. As I usually do, I researched the market thoroughly before buying. In the end I felt I couldn't lose this was less than £20 and I opted for it over the M60 because of the trimmer function for which I am really glad. The ability just to trim the sideburns makes you look so much better groomed, even if you are overdue a trip to the barber. So, downside. None! Upside, takes batteries so you can always stop at your nearest newsagent or convenience store and get some more. It is BRAUN so the quality is fantastic. It's waterproof so, if you want to, you can shave in the shower (although I'm not sure this is a definite advantage) and it will not be ruined in the bathroom when you spill water onto it. The design is excellent so that the foil guard also cuts off the power swich and it cannot just turn itself on in your washbag (which my toothbrush does). There is a cute cleaning brush recessed into the base although you can just wash it under the tap. New foils are easy to come by and cheap. It takes around two minutes to have a clean-up shave where my Chinese one took nearly 10 minutes. It does not tug the hair it just cuts it without any discomfort. BRAUN sell razors for over £200. I get as close a shave with the M90 as I do with a wet razor against the grain of my beard. My skin must be pretty sensitive as I have only just found a wet razor I can do this with, previously I had to shave with the grain to avoid shaving rash. My wife loves the result and it's so convenient that if we are going out in the evening you can get rid of the 5 o'clock shadow in no time. I bought this thinking that if I liked it I would ask for an expensive model as a birthday present - forget it, if there is any advantage to a £200 razor (and I suppose there must be some) I amfar too content with what I have to even contemplate changing.
