Sorry, I'm not familiar with the 2015 Mercedes SL400 air vent layout. However, if your car has circular air vents, I reckon it will probably fit ok. My car is a late 2017 Merc C350e. Have a look online at the C Class vents and maybe you can compare those with yours.
