Outlander 4-Copy Boxed Set: Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn

Im so excited and very happy with this purchase. The books arrived quickly and in great condition!! I almost didn't buy them as I've read a lot of not so good reviews. Glad I didn't listen!!! Some people said they didn't like how small the books where, I love it!, as I have small hands Would definitely recommend if your not sure about getting them. These books have a lot of explicit content and it could be triggering for some, some of the content but overall It is the Greatest Love and informational book series, i can't get enough of Diana Galbadon did such an amazing job with this series 👏🏽 🥰

The books are a great read. I've enjoyed them The only thing is ive read 3 and each one has pages falling out. I wanted to collect all of the books, I just wish the paperbacks were durable. Loved the series and the story. If anyone knows how we could have the books rebound for the pages that have fallen out, I would welcome the suggestions. I have a kindle, but I just love books.

Five stars for a well-written story, a saucy "voice", and wonderfully-built/sympathetic characters. That said, I'm going to state what is probably going to be an unpopular opinion among fans: she often throws in big words that aren't necessary. Let me explain: sometimes, when there are three or four perfectly acceptable descriptors, she will choose a fifth that is so esoteric than even an English teacher has to pick up a dictionary. Writing "peregrinations", for instance, when ruminations, maunderings or even simple ponderings would have done quite well and satisfied an educated reader. There are times when I just say to myself (in a Scottish brogue, of course), "Keerist, woman. Put down the thesaurus, already, and come back to bed. I'm well and fully nackered." But I would read it again 😂

I started out watching on TV. About 3 episodes in my cheeks were flaming scarlet and I found myself wondering if it was TV nonsense to raise viewership and maybe the books would be more reasonable. Well... they weren't. If flagrant and seeming WAAAYYYY excessive and DETAILED sex scenes aren't for you, you may have to pass on this series. I read the books despite them, not for them. I found these stories to be so well told, the characters so compelling that I stuck with them and enjoyed them immensely. The only disappointment being that the last book wasn't ready yet when I was ready for it. Skill of writing and presentation of this particular world, beyond 5 of 5. Would I recommend them to others? Yes based on the story. But not without significant qualifiers and consideration of who I was recommending them to. But the stories are great.

Captivating, intriguing, tender and very interesting. All four books are binge worthy. The author never disappoints it's reader. So worth it!

Love the series so I wanted to know more about the characters. Outlander fans this is a great buy. I purchased books 1-8.

Lo compré a un precio inmejorable y, aunque es edición de bolsillo y con tapa blanda (hay que hacer un poco de fuerza con las manos para abrir los libros cuando vas por la mitad, porque son gorditos), sin duda estoy contentísima. Se ha convertido en mi saga favorita de todos los tiempos y la recomiendo muchísimo. No dejéis de leerla.

I romanzi sono in lingua inglese, li sto leggendo con attenzione ed emozione, Diana Gabaldon è riuscita ad appassionarmi per la prima volta a romanzi non autoconclusivi. I protagonisti, Claire e Jamie, sono ritratti in maniera viva, il contesto storico è curato e affascinante.
