UPDATE!!!!!!!!! EXTREMELY BAD DESIGN
OLD REVIEW:(The drain is located at one end of the tub. This is designed to go on a bed with a patient inside. Patients butts naturally sink into the mattress. that is where "ALL" of the water goes. it does not go to the drain. getting the water out makes more work than what this product is worth. The drain needs to be centered. Another problem it the water bag. the hole to fill the bag is way too small. Getting water into take a lot of effort as well. If this Item would drain, I would have given it five stars.)Update: The company contacted me about my issues. They were kind enough to redesign this product and send me another to try out. They made another drain into the correct location and the new drain is a newer, better design.I would now recommend this product

Not suitable for bedbath
Great idea but horrible in practice. My poor grandmother froze... Not enough water... Didnt work with her bed either. She just had her most expensive bath.

How do we drain the water out?
I got this bathtub for one elderly family member who is not able to get up from bed and is not able to walk at all and is incontinent. I like this bathtub because it is as big as the hospital bed so there is plenty of room to bathe. The material is sturdy enough to keep the mattress from getting wet. The problem is that the drain hole does not work in our case and the water just sits right under the patient's lower back and buttocks are laying. Since the patient is incontinent I put a plastic bedpan with liner and absorbent pad under the buttocks of my patient to catch any bowel movement that may occur during the bathing. I find the portable shower bag this tub comes with difficult to use because it does not supply enough water for a bath and the hose can come off spilling all the water over the floor. A bucket of warm water and a scoop to pour water over the patient is a much better alternative than the bag. To remove all the water that sits under the patient's body I use Luigi's Aquarium/Fish tank siphon hand pump so that all that water can go into a drain bucket. This is why I gave this product 4 stars.

Waste of money
Draining is horrible. And showerhead on bag doesn’t stay on because of water pressure. Don’t recommend.

large size portable tub
bought this for my bed bound mother, the size was great,it resembles a pool, but was not happy with the position of the drain tube,if a person is laying down, there weight crimps the drain tube and you pretty much have to get the water out with buckets.this drain tube needs to be place somewhere else as it sits right in the middle of the tub,and makes it very hard to give some one a bath
