When it comes to build quality, it is far below expectations. The pieces lack proper fit, and the finish looks very amateurish. The base-frame is made out of cheap, thin engineered wood. While the puzzle is playable and would be helpful for kids to strengthen their intellectual prowess, this specific product would not be a good choice as a special gift. The product quality is at its worst. I have seen better versions of this puzzle, built in wood. If you are someone who is bothered about accuracy and precision of fit, this product will be a huge disappointment. I've attached the picture of the product, where you can see the large gaps between the pieces.
