I absolutely love it it is amazing it was super easy to put together maybe half hour or so it’s so pretty very sturdy weight wise it’s heavy which is good has a lot of storage space the drilled holes were perfect it had perfect stability my kid was climbing all over it and it holds great!

Given the bad reviews maybe we got lucky. But this came in a day and a half, just in time to set it up for my parents before having to fly back to the other coast. It's heavy and very sturdy. Many people complained of no instructions but they are easy to miss in the big box (10 pages- comes in a manila envelope 8X11- look for it, it is not with the hardware). It would be a nightmare without instructions but with them, all the parts large and small are marked with a number and the corresponding instructions tell you exactly what to do with visuals and how many of each part you will need step by step. You could do it with one person but two makes it even easier. The doors are adjustable and if you know how to adjust the hinges it's simple. We did not have to make many adjustments for them to hang evenly (all quality hinges are made with this adjustment). Given that real wood is hard to find anywhere and certainly not at this price, I am very happy with the way this MDF/ laminate looks. It's great in the chocolate, in other words it does not look cheap and it will probably wear pretty well. I hate paying over $100 for MDF products- but this is a fair price for what is available in general. Very happy with this, I will try to post pictures later.

The manufacture goes above and beyond. The directions packing and all pieces were so easy to understand. Never had things so perfectly organized. Kudos!!! It took me about an hour and a half but it was my stupid fault. I had to take something apart and redo it. We shall see how it holds up.

The doors are a little difficult to get just right. And if they aren't just right, they fall off. Also, the pegs that hold the shelves in place dont stay in very well. We found that out when we had the shelf fall on top of our new PS4. We may end up using the hot glue gun to keep them in place. The shelves are also a major pain to put in/move around once you get the doors on. Other than that, its extremely sturdy and looks amazing. My husband and I didnt fight at all while putting it together. I'm not sure if that says more about the easiness to assemble or our awesome ability to work together.

We previously purchased a TV stand that was not going to be able to hold up our older heavy flat screen TV. Found this and it looks similar to some bookshelves we had. I was worried with some of the bad reviews, so I checked over everything before assembly and all parts looked good. I was able to put this together within 1 hour, with the help of a child sometimes distracting me. Only one piece had to be reorientated when the photo didn't explain which side was up, but that took 2 minutes to fix. For the price, can't beat it, although still particle board, but one of the better pieces of furniture I've seen. If you are looking for a solid piece at a great price, go with this one!

My TV stand arrived one day after scheduled. The box was a little beaten up. I hired someone to put it together. Although the box showed a picture of the TV stand, the directions inside were for a desk. There were about 50 extra pieces of screws and connectors, which I guess it’s better than 50 less than needed. It is scratched and chipped up in three different places. If I had seen that before it was put together, I would have returned the whole thing. There are extra pieces of wood also that no one could figure out where they went . Remember, no directions. There are big holes where parts of it were screwed together, and I’m sure that there should have been plugs to put in each of these holes, but those were not included. If I could plug up these holes, and if it was not scratched, and if it was not chipped and if it was not a little bit wobbly, I would say it was a good buy. But now, after spending the money for this plus the money I spent having someone put together I am left with a piece of junk.

I had modest expectations when I ordered this piece of furniture. I mix in "ready to assemble" accents with some solid wood authentic Mexican furniture. I simply wanted a decent looking corner TV stand and the Dark Chocolate looked like it would blend so I ordered it when the price dropped. After reading some of the reviews, I expected a tricky assembly. The directions were so simple and the design and look are even more impressive. Unlike some "knock down" furniture, even the back piece is substantial. Once assembled, it actually looks like real wood! It makes me want to replace my other "knock down" accents. Suggestions: I turned it on each side when attaching each door and didn't tighten screws until I knew it would line up well. Also, I wrapped a little tape around the pegs that the shelves rest on so that fit snug in the holes. It turned out great and I'm still in awe at how it looks! I haven't seen better for the money and I'll be looking into other pieces that this brand offers.
