What to do with the O-ring
The instructions were not clear on what to do with the extra O-ring. It looked like it was supposed to hold the spring in the center of the fitting the device get screwed into. So i carefully put the O-ring in place and screwed in the fitting. It works!

I have a Generac adjustable power washer and the spring inside my chemical injector broke and the little ball bearing needed also to be replaced. It looked like this injector should work to replace it but there are so many model numbers that they go by that you're never sure. I replaced the unit that was broken and powered up the washer but it leaked terribly. The little o-ring at the bottom was pushed out of place by the water pressure. I called Generac an they didn't have the part. I finally decided to try just using the spring and the ball bearing inside the old injector. That worked. So, like I found the whole unit may not be what you're looking for but it did accomplish what I wanted to do.

Works with most pressure washers, easy to change.
Absolute perfect fit for my Troy-Built 2800! Takes less than 10 minutes to change. It includes two extra small Orings. Installation tip: look inside the brass fitting, the small Orings are already installed, they send two spares for future use. No need to scrunch that tiny Oring inside. Just remove old fitting, ball and spring. Take the new fitting, drop in the little ball, insert spring with small end against the ball, then re_attach it back on the pump. Do not over-tighten. Your done! Instructions are exact and correct, their help desk responded in 6 hours. I’m willing to bet this fitting fits a majority of major retailers pressure washers with a vertical shaft motor (pump is on the bottom). A+ seller!
