This stroke light is impressive! It provides exceptional brightness, making it ideal for the drones. Plus, it's surprisingly lightweight and portable.Throughout my use (over 90 minutes total), I've been very happy with its performance. It's consistently bright and reliable.The only drawback is that it uses a micro USB for charging. While functional, a USB-C port would be a much better option for faster charging and wider compatibility. In fact, if I had known it was micro USB, I might have considered other options.Overall, this is a powerful and dependable stroke light, with the minor caveat of the charging port. It's a great choice for those needing a bright and portable light source, but consider the charging method before purchasing.

Cannot store attached to drone in flymore ‘case’ without it turning on.I did not want to attach the strobe permanently to my drone. The supplied Velcro has a very strong adhesive and the ability to part the two halves of the Velcro is also difficult. I also had a concern that mounting to the front of the drone puts it directly over the gps antenna.To solve the mounting concern I decided to attach the strobe to my batteries with 3m picture hanging ‘command’ strips that are water resistant and removable. I recommend using these even if you decide to mount it to the top of the drone. They hold very securely and can be removed without damaging the surfaceThe push on/off design is a BAD idea. It is just too easy to unintentionally turn it on and discharge the battery. It’s impossible to transport the drone in a case with the strobe attached without turning it on. A better design for future release would be to have a recessed push button located on the side of the strobe.Having the strobe flash while charging is very annoying. I cover it with a cloth so it doesn’t disturb persons in the room while charging.

I am a Part 107 operator, and my drone does not have anit-collision lighting. This is a great addition to my drone, charges with an included USB cord and is very very bright. Just make sure it is charged up before you use as it is easy to turn on with a very light touch. I keep mine in a backpack that has my gear and sometimes my camera could turn it on. It does not need a lot of time to charge up either. I also do not see a decline in speed or maneuverability in my drone when i attach in the evening.

I like how light this strobe light is. Very bright and I would believe this light will make the 3 statute mile visibility requirement by the FAA. Not as bright as an aircraft anti-collision light but for where and how high one can legally fly the sUAS, not a problem. I liked it so much I put one on the bottom of the sUAS to make it very visible to me the operator. Easily charged but I can't comment on the total time the light will work between charges as I don't use it for more than about 45 minutes for each flight at night. I have used one other light and it was not as bright as this light by far.

Easy to see from a distance and extremely noticeable at night. Easy to use and the hook/loop they supply makes for an extremely strong grip.

What I don't like: Number one, I can't believe this is actually up to FAA standards. (Must have, "anti-collision lights visible for at least 3 statute miles".) It's not very bright, especially if you use the green or red lens/dome that snaps over the LEDs.It also takes up a lot of space on a UAS. I had also hoped, because of the dome shape of the light, that it would be more visible from the sides.What I do like: It's light and easier to turn on than the other lights I own. Directions say "hold for 3 seconds" but it's more like 2 to turn it off and on.I think it would be great, if it were a little cheaper.

As a licensed drone pilot I can fly at night IF the drone has a strobe that can be seen three statute miles away. I live in the country with wide open spaces so, I set my drone on a table behind my house with the strobe on and drove to a location that was 3.2 miles (checked with GPS) away with clear view of my house. The strobe was visible and working well.The strobe is very light in weight. Lume Cube has certainly hit a home run with this strobe. I have not tested battery life at this point but will update this review once I have had a chance to do so.
