Living in a 3 storey Town house with two flights of stairs, two landings and a hall vacuuming with our previous Henriette was a nightmare! The Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is a a purchase I wish I had made years ago. Easy to assemble, lightweight, a delight to use with excellent suction, a superb array of configurations to deal with every type of surface (carpet brush and light is very helpful) and situation. The battery power is adequate for a whole house clean, and we put it straight back into the wall fixing and charge again when finished. The components are simple to remove for filter and canister emptying and cleaning. On the whole if you need a versatile cleaner at an affordable price that delivers on performance the Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is for you.

So handy - is now the main Hoover for carpets upstairs. Amazing how much dust it sucks up, so much so that it is blocked every time it’s used, makes you wonder what the previous hoover was up to. Easy enough to empty and clean out, and the removable brush feature means you can easily remove the inevitable hair wrap. All in all this was a good buy.

I've had this little Hoover for a few months now and it is a fantastic little gadget. I have a hairy dog and need to vacuum a lot, so I have a big Dyson for the main clean. This Hoover despite its small size, does nearly as good a job but is much lighter, can get into those awkward corners and is much easier to zip around with. Only downsides are a small dirt catcher and its not the longest time on a single charge. One of the best vacuums I've owned.

I've been using this for the past month and I would recommend this product if you live in a small place. It has good suction power, it can get increased with the power button but the battery doesn't last that long if you do so. It is easy to move around, gets in small corners easily, it's very light and fun to use! My only downside is the battery, it doesn't last that long, but it covers my 2 bedroom flat with one charge (unless you go on full power all the way). It also has great tools to remove dust from frames/curtains/high ceilings. Highly recommended!

Easy to use if you need to use a walking aid such as a stick or crutches as it is light weight and very easy to move around. Good suction, only needs to pass over the carpet or flooring once. Could even be used sat down and just move the chair location. Easy to empty and clean filters. Well able to hoover an average household on one battery charge. Battery is lightweight as well and easy to plug in and out of hoover.. no fiddley bits.

We had a cordless Hoover for a couple of years and the tube connections were showing wear so despite having given good service it was time for a change. We thought we would be getting a better product with this latest version but NO. the repository for the dirt is far too small, is very difficult to empty using th flap unless you winkle the dirt out with something like a knitting needle. If you strip the container off to clean it then it is difficult to re assemble. The pipe segments are difficult to separate , it does not clean to the edges it just pushed the dirt further away. if you boost the suction to turbo you very quickly drain the battery. And today it jammed solid with dirt and I had to fish the blockage out with pliers. All in all a very bad buy.

* A Quick update after a year 17/02/2022. Hoover still working great BUT does need emptying and cleaning out regularly including the dust filter (A spare one is supplied) and this needs to be washed out under a running tap and left to fully dry out before replacing. Ok so I'll let you know the the whole picture. I purchased this hoover to replace a faithful old Henry that stopped working after a number of years. We have a 3 bed house with 7rooms and a hallway, landing and stairs. Initially from the box we were very impressed with the suction and ease of use. After one room though it needed emptying, we thought we must have a dirty house!! We could cope with emptying it regularly and this was what we were expecting. What we weren't expecting was how easily it gets clogged up. There are a couple of tight right angles (photos 1&3) where hair gets caught up in and the brush (photo 2) gets wrapped up with hair, although the brush it quickly and easily removed by one clip and hair cut of using scissors. As soon as it gets clogged it causes the motor to run extremely hard and the battery dies within a few minutes and also causes overheating. It works great on the stairs but again after one flight of stairs it will require emptying and possibly recharging. In all my verdict is that it's great if you live in a household with no animals and only one person with long hair and definitely not any with hair extensions. If you Hoover a room a day but if you want to do a weekly blitz or hoover the whole house before someone is visiting you will have a chore on your hands.

Great little vacuum, unfortunately the charger has stopped charging after only 6 months and try as I have by contacting Amazon and the seller I cant get any sense from them about replacement although there is a 2 year guarantee. The seller directs me to a website but doesn’t give an address and then wants a video of a charger not charging eh!! I’m giving up and now have to buy a charger. I wouldnt buy again because it cost £159 and now I cant use it unless I spend more money on a charger after only 6 months, the guarantee of 2 years isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
