Great product this one ear headstall has a throat latch. A+

The leather is supple, but feels strong. Color is true to the picture, and very pretty. I love that the ear piece is rolled to prevent chafing.

Great headstall! Just what I needed and well made! Ordering another!

While the shipping was fast and seamless, the very first use of the headstall, the leather-latch snapped. I was slipping the extra leather through with barely and resistance and it just snapped. Very pretty and exactly how the picture implies but I was disappointed in its first use.

i did not get the one in the picture, why is that ok? returning, disappointed update, i decided to keep this, have used it perhaps 10 times or less, one of the "belt loops" detached from the cheek piece :(

Weaver rarely disappoints and this one is no different. I love the look of the one ear headstall but wanted the throat latch for safety with our 5 year old. The leather is a nice brown colour (not reddish) and soft right out of the bag. I was tempted to order another one for our larger draft cross - I think it actually is large enough that it would fit him, though I haven't tried it on him. Definitely can recommend this headstall. Pictured on a horse-sized QH with lots of room for adjusting.
