Perfect lantern for what I needed in case power goes out. Love the 4 light modes and the 4th one is plenty bright enough to light up a room. In reference to those who say the battery cover is difficult to close and gets stuck so they can't remove it. The piece on the cover that slides into the lantern itself is not round, it's oblong with a pronounced point to slide into the compartment post. If you just jam the cover on without matching the slot you are creating your own problem. The post is visible in Fig. 2 of the instruction sheet showing it is not round but makes no mention of matching it to the tube on the battery cover. If something needs to be forced on, something is wrong so stop and take a look at the process first. However, Coleman should definitely make note of correctly matching the battery cover tube to the post in the lantern itself. It's just dumb not to on their part. Who would think that the posts are not round? A lot of people evidently. Coleman and Amazon could reduce a lot of returns and up the ratings if the correction was made.

With Winter Blizzard heading this way I checked all our flashlights. A larger electric lantern was dead. Went online to Amazon and researched a new lantern. With years of camping and canoeing the name Coleman popped up. Knew this was the way to go. Quick delivery and we met the Blizzard blackout in good fashion. Easy and reliable. LED lighting was outstanding and with 3 power settings.

I live in the upstate of SC. We have snow and ice but not like we did over the weekend. In places I would say possibly 2.5 inches of solid ice. I was prepared but wanted another battery operated later and I hit the Jackpot. This later is sturdy, takes 4 d size batteries, and is adjustable lighting on the top of the lantern. It has a blinking mode on it. I love the brightest of the latnern. It does have a nice ruberrised metal handle for hanging

Works great, but be sure to read product dimensions. It’s kinda smaller than you might expect. Pretty durable and bright enough for casual use. Probably provides about 20/30 feet of visibility in the dark.

This led lantern is an awesome light. It's great indeed for! Adventure trips. Camping. Power outages :);):)

Utilizada em casa para as faltas de energia elétrica, tem boa luminosidade e o tamanho pequeno fácil de carregar e por utilizar pilhas do tipo AA, fáceis de substituir. Como o produto veio do exterior veio na caixa original e chegou em bom estado.

Compact and sturdy. I often use it in my farm. Perfect for outdoors as well as indoors. No issues even when exposed to rain. But wipe and dry once under roof. Placement of switch is great. Won't blind you when operating. I use rechargeable batteries, tested for 6 hrs continuous run. It worked well. Be cautious when closing the battery lid. Follow instructions manual to avoid any issues. Since it was import to India, I shelled out more bucks. But trust me, this Coleman lantern is perfect for outdoors and during power outage.

Very handful for my camping. The quality is very good. My son was make a mistake on the battery cover. It was stuck. I thought it is going to finish. But it still working fine. Very good!
