R18SW3-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Debris Sweeper (Body Only), Green, 18 V

Read lots of mixed reviews about this product and whilst it is not perfect (it does leave a middle line that you have to go back over and the emptying could be a bit easier) it is a damn site easier to use than a brush. I used to dread brushing the drive as it felt like a never ending task , now it is the cleanest it has been with very little effort. Great product

The quality of this product is extremely variable. My son bought one and it works really well, and on that recommendation I bought one. What a big mistake. It was never as powerful, The dial for setting the height did not work properly and slipped to it's lowest setting after a minute or so use. After 18 months it refuses to operate. So as Trigger said "look after your broom". Do not buy one, a total waste of money.

This is something everyone should have! It works brilliantly and sweeps up everything in its path! Its well made, solid and lasts ages on a 5.0ah battery! A solid 10/10 for this Ryobi sweeper!

Tried the product and it is acceptable. Like other reviews it is a great concept but needs to have suction to work effectively. Did not like the ridges in the decking and kept getting caught. Left debris behind so had to use the yard brush to finish off which defeates the purpose of buying this machine.

I power this sweeper with a 5AH battery, and I must say, the battery life is exceptional. It lasts a surprisingly long time, which means fewer battery swaps and more work done on a single charge. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the durability of the brushes. After 10 hours of use, they show minimal signs of wear and tear, which suggests they'll last quite a while. This is great news for the longevity of the tool. The added convenience of easy folding for storage is a thoughtful touch. It allows for neat and compact storage, making it a practical addition to my Ryobi collection without taking up too much space. In conclusion, the Ryobi Sweeper is an impressive addition to my collection. While it won't replace a vacuum for fine dust, it excels at handling larger debris and makes quick work of tidying up. With a large bin, long-lasting battery life, durable brushes, and easy storage, it's a valuable tool for any Ryobi enthusiast. I'm giving it a solid 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for keeping your space clean and clutter-free.

I have owned sine april 2024. Used sprung and summer, not heavy use, drive, patio and paths. But has stopped working in recent mobths. Spins, until brushes in contact with ground, or any resistance. When working, picked up dust, dry moss dropped by birds and leaves. Better on smooth surfaces.

Ryobi R18SW3-0 18V. I needed a product that would sweep up debris from our old tarmac driveway around the house. The debris mostly consists of loose surface stones, soil, leaves, sticks etc. I searched and deliberated on several different models including the big petrol sweepers for some time. It was when this came at a discounted price I decided to go for it. I’m very glad I did as it has turned a two day job into a 4 hour job now. It does leave a small line of debris down the middle but it isn’t a big deal. I also use it in the workshop/stables for general tidying without issue. There are videos out there of how to get the best out of it which I would recommend viewing. Great bit of kit all round especially if you can get it on offer.

I really wanted to love this product but the reality is that it’s a lot of faff and effort for little reward. If the debris you’re sweeping up is small and very uniform it does an ok job of flicking it into the collection bucket. Bearing in mind there is no suction so you’re relying on a mechanical spinning brush action to flick the dust from one place to another! I wanted this to help clear up the copious amounts of leaves and foliage we get in our garden and this is where this failed completely. As soon as leaves enter the entrance to the dust container it simply clogs up so you spend most of your time removing the dust canister and using your hand to manually unclog the entrance area. You literally spend ages just allowing this thing to flick leaves around when in reality you could sweep them into a pile and pick them up with a shovel in a fraction of the time. Also if you put it in the highest setting using the dial, it drops down on its own. Simply can’t recommend this device for garden clean up.

Tried a couple of solutions for the tons of leaves and acorns I get on my putting green. I then came across this little machine and it it awesome. The first pic shows the putting green after one pass and the 2nd pics is of the completed job. Had to use a leaf sucker for the big leave but used the Ryobi for the small leaves, acorns and sticks. Very very easy to maneuver. So glad I found this thing.
