OMS Slipstream Monoprene Fin - Large

I've been using the OMS Slipstream for about 13 years now and I've always loved them. They are lightweight, compact (fits in my carry-on) and virtually indestructible. Recently on a dive I lost a fin while helping another diver on the boat. I had been wearing a size large and they were ALWAYS loose and even shifted around on my foot a bit so this time I knew I would order a medium. After checking the toe-box measurements it showed a small 1/2 inch difference between the medium and large so I went with the medium. I couldn't even get my size 9 3mm booties (with my feet in them :-) ) in the toebox. SOOO much smaller than expected. I returned and got the large and they fit perfect!! The point here, I guess, is that these are the same great fin as always but they changed the sizing a bit in the last ten or so years. Just be aware of that if you are replacing an older pair!! The scuba pro Jet Fins Are the go to classics for any kind of technical diving or recreational diving if you know how to use your fins.These are the same but made out of a lighter material. The advantage is when you are diving and assuming you know how to work out your trim etc. if you tend to be feet heavy like in diving the tropicals in a wetsuit then these will help trim you out. If you dive in cold water and enjoy suits your feet tend to be heavier and lighter I mean and that you need more of the scuba pro Jet Fins. So it depends on your needs but these are great for what I need them for.

The fin is not too heavy yet has great propulsion. Great fin.
