Grit is fine and not super harsh. You feel the shredding of skin like it's being burned more than like grains rolling around ripping it up. The enzymes break skin down just enough to give you general exfoliationI use an acid mask occasionally before this to really melt skin. This is not super strong but it's good especially for the price. I used to use a youth to the people yerba mate facial mask before this that I liked the grit better and the smell but this mask is better and cheaper for maintenance every few days

I finally tried the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask and now I understand the hype 😩✨ My skin felt SO smooth and refreshed after just one use. The mask gives a gentle warming sensation when applied, and you can actually feel it working without it being too harsh.It exfoliates really well and leaves my face looking brighter, softer, and more glowy instantly. I noticed my skin texture looked smoother and my makeup applied way better the next day too. Plus it smells exactly like pumpkin spice which makes the whole experience feel like a mini spa treatment 🎃Definitely a great mask if your skin is looking dull, textured, or needs a quick glow-up before makeup or an event!

This pumpkin mask is great. Smells like delicious pumpkin baked products, stings a little when applied. After you allow it to sit on skin for a while (home facial routine), and rinse it acts like a scrub. The skin feels great afterwards just pat dry and apply a moisturizer.

I was taught by my grandma that self care in the industry is a scam and there is no use. While I don't hold the same sentiment, I am more skeptical about products and if they work in the long term. I've used this face mask for only 2 weeks so far and I can tell a difference feeling my forehead. I've been sunburnt on my face too many times to count so my forehead has become rough and jagged but this face mask has made it a bit more clear and very smooth. I didn't put any moisturizer on after (tho I typically would but I just could find it anywhere) but it seems like it wouldn't have made a huge difference because my face didn't feel dry. Good size amount and I'm very happy with my purchase!

I researched pumpkin enzyme products because I had received some in the past that were worthless. I decided to try this one and was very pleased. When I put it on, I can fill a tingle and I believe that I am having positive results - smoother skin, less wrinkles and improve texture. But my neck is sensitive, and so I do not apply it there as it will cause irritation. So if you have skin sensitivity, this might not be the product for you.

OMG this smells so good I want to eat it. Like pumpkin pie. Works well, great deal for a PTR product. Pretty gentle, I have very sensitive skin and was able to leave it on for 5 mins without melting my face off. My face was so soft and clean after. The only complaint I have is with the beads or whatever is in it. They are so fine, they are nearly impossible to get rid of. The first time I used it, I used it before bed just at the sink, and despite my best efforts, I ended up with beads in my eyes. I guess I didn't get them all the way out of my hair or eyebrows or something and they migrated. So, I highly recommend you use this in the shower and RINSE WELL and then rinse again. Incidentally, I also have a layer of the beads on my vanity top that I can't seem to get rid of completely. But other than being perilous to your vanity surface and corneas, the stuff is nice.

Love this mask from PTR! I love all PTR masks, but I think this one may be my fave. It really feels like it does what is says and it smells so yummy. A little goes a long way, this container is huge and will last a long time. I also checked the batch code for freshness and it is very fresh :)

love this Peel Mask, In fact all the Peter Thomas Roth products are super awesomeThis peel is strong enough to make my skin look rejuvenated and refreshed, but not so strong as to cause injury to my sensitive skin. I use it two or three times a week and after I've used it my serum and moisturizer absorb better.I would definitely recommend , I'm impressed. Can't wait to keep using it, and I'm sure I'll reorder again & again
