70 - Rice Based Oral Electrolyte (50g SINGLE PACKET)

I always carry this in my suitcase for international travel. Have had two occasions where my travel companion (two different people & two different countries) became ill (one time it was acute with whole body shaking uncontrollably) due to electrolyte imbalance. I always have one or two bottles of purified water with me at night when sleeping in a foreign country. Just add two teaspoons of CeraLyte to the bottled water, shake, drink it down.

These are typical Ceralyte and it's good stuff. I recieved Ceralyte that is 2 months to expiration though. My last batch of packets had an expiration of around 5 years. This means that this was manufactured at almost the same time as the expired Ceralyte that I bought it to replace, so this is some old stuff thats being pawned off, almost 5 years old. I stock them in an emergency kit, so they are no good to me and can't be returned....other than the fact that they are old, Ceralyte is good stuff and I recommend it, if you don't mind a close to expiration date.

I did not see any improvement from usingbthis product and after a few weeks the powder clamped up and could not be spooned into the water. Waste of money.

this product worked quick and good. I got really sick in India and i recovered faster than the other people. I purchased this before my trip and took it as soon as I got sick and was the first one back to normal.

I ordered this product for my Mom who is suffering from IBS. It’s a great product, but I only received 2 packages and was charged for a full box. This happened with all 3 of my orders. I was disappointed and never received any compensation. Please make this right!

Works great! The taste is not so great, but who cares if it works!I always carry this product with me when I travel - within the united States and Internationally. Internationally, it is a life saver!

terrible taste

I recently developed severe diarrhea while travelling in Myanmar. Luckily I had this with me. The package mixes with 1 liter of water which is a size commonly available as bottled water. It worked superbly and alleviated the symptoms of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance quickly. Some reviewers have complained about the mixing and the taste. It can be put in the bottle of water and shaken. Initially it will form a gummy lump which, with a bit of patience,will dissolve. The taste is not bad, but not something you would choose as a soft drink either.Travelling in an undeveloped area I was interested in a product that was most medically effective. If you are looking for a cool sport drink to use at home, stick to Gatorade. If you are out in the wilds of Asia, Latin America or Africa and need serious oral rehydration, this works very well.
