Nice BOLD print with these!
I'm always needing black markers almost daily around my house. These work well and are very black. I used one to touch up my black kitchen floor tile! Worked great on mailing label too. The print is bigger or can be bold but it isn't a thick chiseled top but a rather bullet style top. You get 3 in a package & for an excellent price! They also btw, work on black shoes, boots or even clothing that needs a touch up like if it has a faded spot or paint splatter, or if paint splattered on window screens! Try it,you'll be amazed! I also used it on my black storm door latch that I got white paint on! Looks brand new now! Good markers for sure!

Tip dries out prematurely, need to cut it to use rest of marker
Had an old one of these markers that seemed to dry out after brief use. Thought maybe time had dried it out. Bought a new 3-pack. Took one out, worked fine for a few minutes then dried out. WTH? rubbing it with alcohol wipe didn't work. Maybe it's just a dud? Then I had an idea: cut a couple millimeters off the tip, and like magic it worked again. Even the old one still had ink in it after cutting the tip. Apparently the tips seem to dry out prematurely and prevent it from releasing more ink. The ink quality is good on the these, so I'll keep using them, but now I have 2 chisel tips instead of 2 bullet tips due to the faulty tip design. (P.S. now also have ink smeared all over my scissor blades, so there's that)

Works fine
Just a good black marker.

Eh.
The price is great, it writes perfect but doesn’t stay on all material types such as plastic, easily wipes away.

My long-time favorite
Marks A Lot has been my favorite marker for decades (70's maybe?). They put down a permanent mark that doesn’t fade, smear, or wash off without the strong solvent smell present in any other brand I’ve ever tried. The markers could benefit from design and marketing (they’re kind of ugly and I have trouble finding them locally), but I seek them out because they’re superior to their competitors in doing the job and don’t offend my nose.

Best for permanent ink, no streaking, great for garden signs that don't fade.
Although Sharpie is supposed to be permanent, they aren't. For outdoor signs they will fade in the sun fairly quickly and the ink will streak if you don't let them dry. Discovered these kinds of markers when I orders some gardening labels a few years ago. Great pens with superior permanent ink with no sun fading. Dries almost immediately, no streaking. Maybe some versions are different, the caps on these do actually fit onto the back of the pen when in use.
