Sanford Expresso Porous Point Pens, Black Ink, Medium Point, Dozen - 29001

This is a great pen -- at its best it writes very smooth, lasts a long time and most importantly, even if one forgets to put the cap back on it can sit for hours without drying out. Sadly, five of the twelve pens in my shipment had dried out, if not completely, enough to prevent them from writing cleanly. Since this pen was discontinued years ago so this is obviously, very old stock (and coupled with the fact that the price is quite reasonable) I'm prepared to treat that as an acceptable yield. I subtracted a star because I couldn't quite give it five stars with five bad pens but I am still happy with my purchase -- I haven't found any other inexpensive pens that I like as much so I will put up with the perils of old stock

3 of the 12 were dry. However, being that they stopped making this pen 10 years ago, and that new they cost a couple of dollars each, this is still a good deal. As a lefty and an artist, this is my favorite pen. So glad to see someone had backstock.

These pens are really nostalgic for me - my grandmother only wrote with these, so have find memories when I use them. About 3-4 wouldn’t write or were seemingly low on ink, but have around 8 or 9 that should work well!

Do not buy this. For years I have loved these pens. However, six of the twelve pens were totally dried up and unusable. Several of the others wrote partially. Two or three wrote half decently. These pens are are very old stock, dessicated, and not worth purchasing.

not exactly sure what happened here, but these are not the pens advertised in the photo. That only wouldn't be enough to give the product a 2, but half of them were dried out AND they arrived three days late. I was very disappointed guys , and i rarely ever am when ordering off amazon.

Love the pens but 3 stars because half of them don't work properly (they came damaged) will buy again but am not entirely pleased.

I loved these pens in the past; but the 2 boxes I purchased were drying out. I used both boxes in less than 1 month due to them already being dried out. I know these pens write exceptionally well but it has been years since I was able to find them. I would love to try them again; but I need to know that they will last longer than that. It was very disappointing.

I tried several fancier pens (even Bic Gel, which simply smeared on my paper and hands....yuck!)...THIS PEN has become the only one I use in my business. It dries instantly, does not smear.I wish it had some ergonomic comfort features...but the ink print is so bold, and clear, I sacrifice personal comfort for the quality that gets my jobs done! They do run out of ink faster than other pens, and are not refillable...but the price is write (yes, pun inteneded!)
