This is a fantastic jigsaw. I haven’t owned one for quite some time now but I needed this for shaping some shelves. This is the best jigsaw that I have owned.You are given a range of blades to fit every required job. Then versatility is provided via the various oscillation and speed settings. So, using the higher settings for the softer materials and the lower settings for the harder materials will give you that precision cut. I very much like the handling of this - it’s very easy and comfortable to hold and to keep a good control of.My cuts so far haven’t been required to be straight as such so I haven’t used the laser light but it’s a nice addition for the low price as well.The jigsaw feels solid and durable. The aluminium base provides stability and the rubberised handles provide the level of control required for the more lengthier cuts.Another nice addition is the carry case which is strong and durable and just had a premium quality look to it.Having already owned an excellent Tacklife branded lawnmower, choosing this over some of the more well known brands and at a much cheaper price was a no-brainer for me.

I bought this product to replace my old Jigsaw which gave up the ghost after plenty of hard work. I've used my new machine a few times now and I'm not disappointed AT ALL!! I can highly recommend this product, so easy to use, robust, brilliant quick release blade( just keep hold of the blade when releasing but most CERTAINLY NOT dangerous) , great accessories really nice case, long power cord, laser guided. I've got a few machines of this brand and can't fault them. Great delivery service with prime. Roll on next year for more sawing projects, this new machine IS built to last.

I bought this to replace an old, simple low-powered jigsaw. The oscillating action may be why it cuts wood so easily. I find I am using it on jobs where previously I would have used a circular saw. The laser is accurately positioned. The tool-less blade change is very easy to use. Good length of power cable. Instruction leaflet could be better.

This jigsaw seems so inviting because of all of its bells and whistles, such as the light and laser which are not seen on much more expensive tools. However, the basic build quality is abysmal, and there is no point having all the bits of extra kit if the damn thing doesn't cut straight! After just a couple of months, the housing for the blade became misaligned and the thing will no longer cut except at a 15 degree angle, completely worthless and the whole thing needs to be thrown away. Let everyone beware of false economy, and make sure you buy quality tools from named manufacturers like Makita rather than dreaming you can cut corners by getting junk from a no-name Chinese outfit like "Tacklife".

Used this to cut flooring and some shed panels length-ways. Very accurate, easy to use with some lovely little features.First of all it doesn't vibrate like some models you can buy, it has a number of settings for type of material and cut required. Another setting directs air flow so you can blow the sawdust away from the cutting line. Then you still have a speed setting.Very easy to use. Excellent value for money.

Fantastic build with all the optional extras you could need really, lazer light, quick release blade change ect.Being in professional maintenance I need durability and quality.. Great buy.

excellent jigsaw but came times be difficult to use in tight spaces.

Used this a couple of times now. Easy to set up and works well. Comes with a good selection of blades too to get tou started.
