A good introduction to Kava
I tried this for the first time August 6. Followed the directions by mixing 3 tsp with 6 oz liquid (milk) in a shaker. Vigorous shaking and then immediate consumption. The first taste is really very good, the cocoa flavor went well with the milk I mixed it in. However, there is a bitter, astringent after taste that does NOT go away. I had to brush my teeth and even then, there was a bitter flavor in my mouth. However, I must note that I did sleep very well and had vivid, pleasant dreams. Since my first experience, I have tried other flavors of kava and also tried the kava served at the local kava bar and have become more accustomed to the alkaloid astringency of kava. Cocoa Blend in milk is now a bedtime favorite, as I came to discover that milk fat helps activate the kavalactones more effectively. I have also experimented with making dark chocolate truffles using Kava King, with excellent results.

Good stuff that works
Well, the flavor is not the best, but you should know that already, do people drink coffee for its taste? let be real people, the product does its job i would buy it again, was impressed, however being a first time user of cocoa Kava, liked it

Ever since I gave up the good green, this is a really nice way to relax before bed. Taste is good. easy to prepare. Makes the tongue tingle/go numb a little (as it should)

Wrong blend
Two stars because I ordered the kava cocoa mix and they sent the Vanuatu blend. Gonna try anyway. If it is really good will give another star. Not going to return because I’ve been looking forward to trying. Just wish I got the type I ordered
