Polarduck might not carry the same name kudos as Manfrotto or Joby, but that is who they are clearly aiming for with this versatile mini tripod. But at less than 1/3rd the price of its better known competitors, can it possibly be any good?Just like it's rivals, the Polarduck is made predominantly of high grade ABS plastic with an aluminium 360° rotating ball head firmly locked in place by a sprung push button. Excellent. Very pleased with this stand. Good quality, very tough plastic construction. All the parts move nicely and firmly. This will be useful for Zoom and FaceTime calls with my phone. Can also easily attach my micro 4/3 camera to it. Great value for the price.

This is the second one of these tripods I’ve purchased. Still using the first one as a stand for a large Alexa smart speaker. Works really well for that so decided to get another for my phone. Still great quality, still a good price and still like the push button ball head system which is really easy to use. Now the bad bit ! It only just accommodates an iPhone 14 Pro Max 6.7 inch not the width, that’s fine, but the height, the phone is so long it hits the legs of the tripod ! The supplied phone holder just isn’t high enough and if you slide the phone so it is only just in the holder it isn’t quite as stable🫣 One alternative would be to stand it on a pile of books I suppose or maybe fit longer tripod legs? Not so great for video calls and the like, well not unless you like people looking up your nose, so this will almost certainly be the last time I purchase one. A great shame because I really like it.

OK, it's a cheap knock-off of more expensive kit, but it's decent quality and it works well. Handy to throw in my work bag.Holds big modern 2024 phones easily.

It's well balanced and holds my camera very well. I did have to unscrew the legs temporarily to get at the swivel ball as it was stuck fast. But by loosening the screws inside, I got it moving, and now it's great. It's great value for the money paid

Got the "general" version. Now that they have the upgraded version, I wouldn't suggest you buy the cheaper general version because there are many drawbacks to this tripod and you can definitely get something better for the same price. If you just use it for your phone without needing to adjust the head by a lot, then it's fine, I suppose, but anything other than that it's quite restrictive – the ball mount moves quite freely if you put anything heavier on it (like a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 or an action cam that's attached to a handle) and you also only rotate it down by 45 degrees not full 90 degrees.

J'ai déjà eu l'occasion de l'utiliser à 2 reprises> En congrès avec une Gopro pour réaliser une vidéo accélérée> En rando avec ma fille pour faire des photos avec mon téléphone.Il est peu encombrant avec ses pieds rétractables. Une fois dépliés, il est stable et on peut adapter la longueur des pieds sur les surfaces non plates (sur une pierre lors de ma dernière randonnée)Replié, il peut aussi faire office de poignée de Gopro.La télécommande fournie est un plus que j'ai apprécié également.Je ne peux évaluer sa solidité car je l'ai depuis peu de temps. Mais il semble de bonne facture.J'espère que ce retour d'expérience vous sera utile 😉👍🏻

Davvero prodotto ottimo! L'ho acquistato perché quello che avevo ero vecchio e mi si era spianata la vite. Buon acquisto, l'ho utilizzato già per un mese con la fotocamera canon 600D e regge alla perfezione. Secondo me è molto resistente. Anche con la gopro è ottimo. Per il cellulare invece va bene se lo si usa in orizzontale, ma in verticale è scomodo (vedi foto) perché non si può abbassare abbastanza, ci vorrebbe un altro attacco credo.Contiene il treppiede, l attacco per gopro e quello per cellulare. Spedizione veloce come al solito. Consiglio!

Me ha sorprendido mucho, por el precio que tiene. Para lo pequeño que es y teniendo en cuenta que es de plástico, está bastante bien hecho y es súper estable. Tiene unas pequeñas gomas antideslizantes en las patas, con las tres patas plegadas tiene un agarre súper cómodo. Yo lo quería principalmente para el móvil, y con un iphone 11 funciona de cine. Con una cámara compacta o una mirrorless pequeña también funciona bien. No lo recomendaría para cámaras más grandes tipo DSLR o algo con un objetivo más grande, porque vence. Pero si lo estás pensando para móvil, gopro o compacta, lo recomiendo al 100%. La única pega que le pongo: el botón para poder cambiar la orientación del móvil es MUY duro, lo cual es bueno para bloquear y que no se mueva de la posición en la que lo pones, pero malo para andar cambiando la orientación. Pero por el precio, ¡merece la pena!

Habe mir zwei Stück davon bestellt, einer für meinen Zoom H2n Audiorecorder und eines für das Smartphone. Die Anmutung und Haptik ist super, es macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Der Löse-Knopf für den Kugelkopf-Klemmmechanismus ist schon sehr stramm gefedert und es bedarf etwas Kraftaufwand, diesen zu betätigen. Dafür bleibt das aufgeschraubte Gerät aber auch bombenfest in der gewünschten Position. Das Mini-Stativ hat auch keine Probleme mit einer schwereren Systemkamera.Der Stand ist ausgesprochen stabil, die drei Beinchen haben unten feste Gummiauflagen, so das da auch nichts rutscht. Für 11€ eine klare Empfehlung von mir!
