Gigi All Purpose Honee Wax 8 oz (Pack of 2)

After reading reviews, I had some doubts but still figured I’d try it anyway. I.AM.OBSESSED. I usually use hard was because it is a lot easier to use. If you’re a beginner, I would say use hard wax (depending on what you’re trying to wax) because clean up is easier, and it’s just easier to handle in general. This wax is extremely sticky, and can get messy (but it’s wax, duh. To be expected) but overall I loved it. I have pretty sensitive skin, and this didn’t irritate it at all. There’s no weird smell, and once you get the hang of it, super easy to apply and gets just about everything in one go. (Once again, depending on what you’re trying to wax) I do wish amazon had a bundle with the Waxing strips (cause, you NEED those) but w/e. Not to big of a deal. Biggest advice is take your time, don’t get frustrated, and have plenty of baby oil and cotton pads (or balls) on hand to get rid of excess wax on your skin.

The kit with the GiGi wax is great! I use it on my arms, legs, and face. I love how clean my eyebrows look when I do them and how long I can go without shaving my legs when I wax instead. For lazy folks like myself this is IDEAL for hair removal and cost effectiveness! cause you spend $20 for just your eyebrows at a normal place do that three times it pays for the whole kit (which would wax your eyebrows like 50 times) I'd recommend getting the warmer rather than just this wax.

I ordered these to go with my gigi warmer. but turns out this is not the right size. I still could've used it. but I didn't wanna mess up the inside of my warmer.. works great. great shipping cost was good. and came to me all in one piece! thumbs up.

Good product for anyone who does not like the razor blade on their skin. Be careful with the product though because if it is too hot, you can get burned. First time using it can be painful because you literally have to pull the wax off along with your hair stuck in it. Otherwise, the product works well as intended.

I am a licensed esthetician and business owner and have been waxing now for almost 10 years. I went to order my go to soft wax and it was out of stock so I tried Gigi, knowing I’ve never tried a new wax and had any issues at all. Well, not anymore. This wax would stick on the skin and not come up when I pulled the strip. I tried everything. I turned the heat up as much as I felt I could without burning my client’s skin—it still stuck to her skin. Even though the setting was where I always keep it, the wax was responding as if it was too cool. I eventually had to rip the wax off with my hands which my client found uncomfortable but at least after 45 minutes I was able to get all the hair and wax off. I usually take 20 minutes to do this client’s Brazilian. This is not a product you should carry, unless you speak to the supplier and they make modifications—it will cause damage to people’s skin due to it not coming off and people (especially newer Estheticians) having no choice but to crank up the heat and burn their clients.

I had never waxed before, and my sister-in-law recommended this brand to me. Said it was the best. After reading lots of reviews here on Amazon, I agreed that this was the brand I wanted to choose. It seemed like the best quality, gentlest, easy to clean up, etc... I was a little shocked when I received the wax. For some reason I was expecting a plastic tub of wax that I could just pop in the microwave and get going right away. (A plastic tub was what my sister-in-law recommended.) The description did not say this product was one way or the other so I just assumed it was what I was told about.... So, This is a metal container of wax which you can not put in the microwave. It requires you to purchase a wax warmer, which is more money than I really wanted to spend while just getting started. I thought to myself, oh no big deal, I have a candle scent pod warmer that plugs into the wall. I'll just borrow it for a bit to heat the wax. Well, the wax container was a little bit too big around to fit down into the pod warmer. On to plan C: We ended up setting the metal container directly on top of our electric stove. I really don't recommend this but it worked at the time. It only took about 10 mins. to melt the wax. Applying the wax: We used Gigi Accu Edge Small Applicators that we also purchased. The wax went on better when it was warmer and runnier, you could tell it was cooling off when you could feel it pulling your hair when applying. We then used Gigi's Muslin Epilating Strips to remove the wax and hair. Clean-up: We really didn't know how to clean off the excess wax from the skin. The only thing we had and ended up working pretty well was an oil that came with a different smaller kit that I had purchased previously. Now that I know a little more about this whole waxing thing and everything needed. I would definitely recommend that if you buy this wax or any other wax that you make sure you get a wax remover product at the same time. Gigi sells a "Wax Off" product that I just found out about. Arrived super fast. Great product.

I've used Gigi products for years. However, was a little disappointed when I received this order. I didn't realize the wax came in 8oz, I guess I didn't read clear enough. I normally get the larger container that actually fits the Gigi warmer. However, Gigi wax is the way to go.

Works really well I thought the container would be a bit Bigger though. Superrrrr hard to come off so i suggest you buy the wax remover or use baby oil or olive oil to get it off.
