Oregon 2400W Corded Electric Chainsaw with 16" Guide Bar & Saw Chain

OK. Firstly, for the money it's an excellent saw. Very easy to set up out of the box. The chain tensioner is great. The power lead is a good length and is good quality. The saw worked well, I cut up50 or so awkward shaped logs with ease. The oiler works very well. The oil tank doesn't hold a lot so keep checking. I didn't find the sight glass too useful because it's not obvious where the level is. But, check the level and top up every 10 logs or so and you can't go wrong. Overall very pleased. A recommended saw.

This is my very first chainsaw and so I can't compare it to others. But I've just spent several days cutting up old fence panels, and some logs. So maybe not too demanding yet, but it was like a knife through butter. I'm well impressed. Easy to assemble and use, especially for a novice.

Not a beginner with chainsaws but don’t use my petrol ones all the time so starting, mixing 2 stroke mix for each saw and getting them started becomes a pain. I bought this one as Oregon know their way around chainsaws and it shows. A great piece of kit, plenty of power and stops dead when switch is released. As it has trailing cable I am not sure I would want to tackle standing wood with it without taking a lot of care but I use it to plough through a stack of cut logs and it has impressed me. 4 stars only as it could have come with a file to sharpen.

Bought this to replace a cheaper version by another manufacturer bought from a big DIY store that never really worked properly. This in contrast works like a dream. Recommended.

Used for 8hrs now impressed with performance and build quality. Easy assembly and cleaver design of chain adjustment. Frugal oil consumption. The chain that’s included cuts well and further increases value for money on unit purchase price . Bought for use in suburban area as quieter than my petrol saw and less fumes. Pleased with my purchase.L

Boy, this is good!! Never write product reviews, but so impressed with this that I had to. Providing you can get power to where needed, then this trumps petrol chainsaws for me. Lighter, quieter, no fuel/filters/plugs maintenance and no annoying pull cord start - plus a fraction of the price! Fact you make a cut and then.... silence. Ample power, slices through trunks like hot knife through butter. Easy to assemble, sturdy quality construction, decent Oregon chain and bar. Love it.

We have only used this chainsaw approximately 5 times in the 2.5 years we have had it turned it on it was working one minute turned off and 5 mins later no longer working. Have checked the fuses it’s not them. Poor quality. I would expect it to last longer than 5 uses. Will not be purchasing again from this brand.

Absolutely brilliant! I'm used to a petrol chainsaw, but this is much better, albeit needing an electricity supply. No more smelly petrol, exhaust fumes having to pull your shoulder out just to get it started. Pull the trigger and it just starts every time. Is powerful enough to cut through thick tree trunks with ease. Afterwards it's dead easy to clean. Very happy with it.

Man sollte dazu schreiben das die Säge keinen Stecker für Deutschland daran hat und einen Adapter benötigt wird . Das ist schlecht, denn weñ ich ein Gerät kaufe für Deutschland sollte es auch dafür ausgestattet sein.
