Much better sound quality than expected - Striking design
I was honestly surprised by these, I bought more for the look/design and was expecting a decent drop in sound quality compared to other PC audio type systems I've used in on other environments - namely the Audio Engine A2+'s which I also think are fantastic. Both are good forays into the quality entry level class of PC speakers - far better than the cheap plastic pieces of crap class of speakers - but short of a full on audiophile system utilizing passive speakers and separate AMP/DAC/etc. For the near field usage I use these on while sitting at a desk, that type of system would be far overkill for me (even for a guy who likes to overkill), and it probably is for most others short of a studio mastering system. The A2+'s have the edge with the built in DAC, so depending on how noisy and crappy your PC DAC is that may be a major selling point given both have a similar cost. I prefer having the DAC built in, but even using my probably crappy Dell laptop DAC the E25 Luna's have a rich and full sound with good imaging placed on either side of my 34" Samsung CF791 monitor. The bass is much fuller than I expected as well, certainly don't expect bass like a dedicated 12+" performance subwoofer, but it's good for what it is and doesn't sound bloated to my ears. I may play around with an external USB DAC in the future, but for now I'm content. As far as design, I'm a fan of the Audio Engine A2+'s minimalist and purposeful design, however they are basically just boxes. The E25 Luna's are quite striking and unusual as far as the design - it may be a love it or hate it thing but I do like it. Both have great finishes. I would prefer normal speaker post connections instead of the proprietary connection these E25 Luna's are using, but it works fine and all of the cables were plenty long for my system.***Please note that in the pictures I had initially hooked them up backwards and has been corrected. The Right channel speaker houses the power and audio input connections along with the proprietary connection that goes to the Left channel speaker.***

i would give this 10 stars if i could
I bought these for my computer and I ended up getting another set for a TV setup in the house. These things sound so clean. I've spend $1000 on a sound bar that didn't sound as good as these do. I will soon have a set of these on every TV and computer we own. They are well built and a beauty to display. They just sit on my computer desk and the other set is on the dresser with the TV. I have not purchased the stands but the stand would just add to the over all look. If you need speakers get these. they are worth the money and then some.

Magnificent except for neighbors connecting to it [Solved]
I love these speakers. I switch between using the Bluetooth functionality and the optical input. The switching is seamless and easy. Once I connect over Bluetooth from my Macbook Pro, it switches to that input. The sound is really nice. Rich and full. The only annoying thing is that my punk GenZ neighbors across the alley think it's funny to connect to my speakers and pipe in loud awful music. For a while I was powering down the speakers when not in use, but that removed the ease of just starting playing music on them. I figured out 2 solutions to solve this problem. The first is to keep one of my parked Mac computers constantly Bluetooth connected to the speakers, then install BluetoothConnector to easily disconnect / connect via ssh. The speakers allow only 1 Bluetooth connection, so when I want to stream music from my roaming laptop, I have a little shell alias that ssh's to my parked mac, runs BluetoothConnector --disconnect, then runs BluetoothConnector --connect from my roaming laptop. When I'm finished, I run another command that does the reverse, thus keeping one of my computers constantly connected and locking out the punk kids. The second solution is to plug the speakers into a WeMo WiFi outlet and then write a little command that issues power-on/power-off commands to the outlet, thus cutting power to the speakers. The speakers return to whatever state they were in when the power supply is toggled. There are some Perl modules on CPAN that can handle the WeMo API interface. I don't know the long term effects of hard-cutting power to the speakers so I went with the first solution.

Beautifully designed but lacks punch in the low and mid-range
Product is very well made and has an attractive design. Cable lengths are long enough to accommodate most desks/credenzas with no problem. I really wanted to like these speakers but found the low end and mid-range to be lacking. The treble and upper range is very clear and crisp. If you are used to 2.1 computer speakers it will be difficult to transition to a 2.0 system like this. If Edifier would create a 2.1 system with these beautiful speakers, they would have a complete winner on their hands.

Pretty Darn Good
Pretty good speakers for the size they are. They got a pretty good punch, price may be slightly steep but still worth the bang for your buck if you want a simple set up. Plus in terms of design these speakers looks amazing especially in the red color way

buttons are awful. no way to know speaker volume.
had for about a year. Sound is just fine. Aesthetic is good. The buttons are awful. The buttons are touch based like a smart phone but have nothing to register where they are except for by sight. No vibration or tactile bump of any kind. The power button has to be held for almost two seconds to register the touch to turn on and off which is insane and extremely frustrating. Power and volume buttons are all practically on top of each other. poor design. No way to know what the speaker volume is set to, as in I can see what my PC volume is on screen, but then i can turn up and down the speaker volume on the speaker but it doesn't register or display that anywhere... also bad design. Wish I had returned them, too late now.
