The details say it is for a20e which is what I have. Buy through amazon and look for a cover for a21e.

Will a Samsung A20f fit it?

Yes, that is what my phone is and it fits perfectly.

Does it protect phone when dropped.

I would say , yes it does, as the phone is clipped into the case & none of the actual phone protrudes over the edging of the case. The small strap holds the cover in place across the front of the phone with being magnetic. Not having been unfortunate enough to drop the phone this is only my opinion of a very useful case & not fact. Hope this helps.
