works fine, but will cause your laptop to crash after using it for a long time and it gets to hot or hella is going on, bc bottle neck in a way but it is so good and the crashes are fast and they rarely happen, so get better cooling for your laptop. and if you goon or sum don't expect your tabs to be save after crash, it is a full reset. it does improve the laptop a lot. so yeah 100% rec. use your laptop displayport to ground via band, gloves not req but use if you want to be extra safe, make sure your laptop is off and dead without batter inside when doing this. watch 4 different yt vidoes on different laptops being replace with ram and look at a video show cassing your exact laptop inside so you know what to do when trying this. The ground info is if you don't have a true ground outlet, and if you a kid get a parent to help, or be very careful at least and be supervised.

Excellent way to upgrade legacy laptops. I have two Dell Precisions (4600 and 6700) from around 2013, and 32GB each makes them run so smooth. Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, and 11 and ParrotOS (Linux) all run without hiccup.

I have an old Lenovo Ideacentre A730 that takes DDR3 Sodimm. It only had 8GB installed so I wanted to upgrade the ram without spending a lot of money. Ram is typically not cheap but I saw this ram for $16 at the time of purchase and I figured it was worth a shot. I've purchased TeamGroup flash drives before without issue so I figured these would be more than sufficient to upgrade my machine. They came in this morning, and I popped them in and voila! Instantly recognized the full 16GB and there are no stability issues. I've run memory tests with no issues. So if you are wanting to upgrade an older machine that takes this type of ram I definitely recommend these modules! Big upgrade for minimal cost. I'm very happy with these!
