Good selection of recipes but no description for each one which is what I enjoy reading, to get a 'feel' for the history of the recipe

My mothers side of the family are Guyanese and I was interested to see our family favourites were included. The recipe varies from my nan's but that's what makes it interesting. A great and comprehensive book.

Made Christmas memorable

Recommended by my Dad. I think it suits the North American market better. It presumes quite a lot of knowledge too. It leaves out a lot of very popular dishes.
