Haier 565 L Inverter Side-by-Side Door Refrigerator (HRF-619SS, Silver)

So here I am after using this for 15 days I would say the product is pretty good with this price tag. Wanted to give 4 stars as the delivery boy asked me to help out to place this Mammoth into the house :-) but fine with me. The delivery was made without a minute scratch and the installation team was pretty professional by explaining each and every action they were doing and yeah COVID preventive measures were strictly followed by them :-).Pros:The cooling and freezing is good.The vegetables and fruits (I am a Vegan) are as fresh as new after 5 daysThere is so much of space for a family of 5 that half of the freezer and fridge is vacant :-(Elders experienced with old model fridge think its a new model of Godrej locked until mentioned :-DWas worried how the under cleaning can be done after placing this fridge but it have got wheels so problem solved.There was low voltage one whole night as if to test this product and it worked as if nothing has happened where my old fridge stopped working.Cons:There are no cons to be honest, but just to mention if this could have been a smart fridge would have been great.

Needed to replace our old 350L double door fridge. After plenty of research narrowed down to Amazon Basics and Haier as they were within my budget. Did not want to spend more than 70K.Was looking for a 'Made in India' product- there were none.Amazon Basics fridge had more features like water dispenser and ice tray, but had older reciprocating compressor. Also warranty was 5 yrs as compared to 10 in Haier.Compared Haier and Hisense (which manufactures Amazon Basics fridge) in an offline store. Haier had better fit and finish also.So decided on Haier.Product delivery and installation was a breeze.Only problem is that it was not open delivery. The people brought the packed fridge inside the house. To open the cardboard crate, we had to cut it as it is impossible to open it indoors.The Haier installation person came next day and explained the functioning.The only downside of the fridge is that it has no twist drop ice tray. Had to request the Haier engineer for one on payment. Got it in a couple of days for about Rs 800.For people who have not much stuff to freeze, it may be advisable to opt for the convertible frwnch door fridge. You may be paying 15K more for the option.Not sure of the power consumption as these fridges surprisingly do not have a BEE Star rating.Overall a great fridge at a resonable price.Reduced one star for the absence of twist ice tray.

We have been using this for 45 days or so and happy with the working and service too. Bought this after my own survey for side by side Budget refrigerator. This was fitting my criteria. The order process was good. Delivery happened as per my choosen date. Though the set up I could not request before delivery, as I didnt want to wait to unbox and start it once its delivered. However with Haier it was very smooth. The technician came within 2 hours of me puting in a request. Hence not much of a wait. I even had a service call for sound coming out of fridge. The techniciain came rectified it. I have also subscribed to extended warranty directly from Haier ( even though its on expensive side, but prefer to buy directly from the brand)

I am writing this review after about 15 months of use and am happy to say the fridge works very well. I replaced two 230 L fridges with this one and this one easily fits all the contents of our earlier two fridges. The large freezer is very useful too for our family as we freeze a lot of food. The digital display is helpful and after a long power cut you know about the temperature rise to take an appropriate action. High humidity during the monsoon did cause some ice forming in the freezer but it defrosted automatically well.

Such a reputed company as Amazon, specially with the strength in delivery, gave a horrible Delivery Experience. The delivery person refused to deliver, called and said he is not equiped to deliver a large consignment as this. The size of the refrigerator is pre defined by Amazon itself, nothing is hidden. I wonder where is the gap then. Why is Amazon selling something which it cannot deliver. The delivery person kept on threatening that he will cancel and return the delivery. Finally I had to leave my office work and go down outside my apartment where he was standing and get all type of odd help as from my security guard and driver and then bring it home.Not a pleasant expeince, created a lot of stress for me and interruption and loss of office work.We expect, for such a role model brand as Amazon know for its supply chain and delivery strength to think through before selling something. Unfortunately bad experience.I have not much to comment on the product as it looks good and is performing as it appears and written there.

The product was dam good I am in love with this product since I received but the problem is with installation guy I don't know how the brand will hire unprofessional candidates the installation guy don't even know how to respect people and the guy is playing with us like every time he call us and with in one hour I will be there but the time is passing away the guy is not coming and he don't have information about fridge every time he is Googled if we ask some thingMy serious advice because of these unmatured candidates the brand is spoiling their reputation so now I hope they will provide best service from one once again the installation guy is damm irritating funking installation

Its delivery was right on the said day and packaging was good. My flat is on the second floor and we don't have any lift, still they placed it in the right place inside my flat. Haier representative arrived within 3 hours of delivery and he did his job nicely.Only con is its look, its look was not very clear from the Amazon photo. Inside the refrigerator looks nice.I received just 3 days ago so I am not going to say anything about its performance.
