I needed a compression tester for 14mm spark plug holes on a used 2008 Infiniti G37S that I bought. I was changing the spark plugs for the first time since I bought the car and wanted to know how the engine was holding up after all these years. This tool worked great, and my compression was 245 psi on 5 out of six cylinders and one read 235 psi. Within spec, and I'm a happy camper.

Works well! Seems pretty accurate. Within 5-10% of a name brand tester. Comes with all the fittings you'll need. Definitely feels a bit cheaper than the expensive stuff but it works just fine.

Nice and easy to use

The test tool worked great. For the price, absolutely great value. I got the "premium" kit in the black case. I will likely use it rarely, but it was what I needed for a little recent troubleshooting. I recommend this tool.I would give it 5 stars, but it will not let me for reasons I know not.

This is a good low budget kit. I really just needed the fittings to make my old gauge work for a project but it was cheaper and faster to just buy this kit. That being said the kit is nicely put together. The gauge seems a little cheap so I compared it to my other gauge and they were pretty much reading identical. Overall great kit for the price and seems pretty accurate for my needs.

This compression tester worked ok, but did not come with the right adapter for the spark plug hole in my engine (5.4L 3V). I had to buy a special adapter for more than 3X the cost of this kit. If you have this engine with the deep 12mm spark plug holes, it will not work as is. You can use the adapter with the rubber nose cone, but it's a pain and requires someone to crank the engine while you hold pressure down on the adapter in the spark plug hole and you won't get a very accurate reading.
