Great kit for the price.
This is a good low budget kit. I really just needed the fittings to make my old gauge work for a project but it was cheaper and faster to just buy this kit. That being said the kit is nicely put together. The gauge seems a little cheap so I compared it to my other gauge and they were pretty much reading identical. Overall great kit for the price and seems pretty accurate for my needs.

Good for the money
Works well! Seems pretty accurate. Within 5-10% of a name brand tester. Comes with all the fittings you'll need. Definitely feels a bit cheaper than the expensive stuff but it works just fine.

Not a pro mechanic, but -
If/when I've needed to know if I had compression, I've always got someone to check it for me. Well, someone "lost" his, another guy broke his, another guy seems to have worn his out. So - I shopped for something that looked durable, and hopefully accurate.The case is sweet. Put the tool in it's case, it's protected, and that big case isn't going to get lost in the bottom of a toolbox drawer.That variety of fittings is sweet - the tool will fit most anything you want it to fit, and the rubber plug will cover that oddball engine that nothing fits.I can't really address accuracy, but I got the same reading on all six cylinders, within 5psi.The tool is easy to use, and it's accurate enough for my purposes - and probably for yours as well. I mean - it isn't essential that compression be exactly right, so long as compression is consistent between cylinders.The big surprise? The tool only cost about $25, when I was expecting to spend $100 or more for any sort of quality.Oh - now I'm that guy from whom everyone will borrow a seldom needed compression tool!

Great Price Testing Kit
Super price for a similar set found locally. Hoping is shows good results to my engines' cylinders.

Tester seems ok, but could not use as 14mm long reach adapter not included in set
1998 Ford Ranger XLT 2.5L inline 4cyl. Found that there is no long reach 14mm adapter required for this vehicle. Thread depth on the14mm adapter in this kit is standard length, but not enough to engage the spark plug threads Wish that would’ve been stated in description or better yet include the long reach 14mm adapter hose in set.I had to use the rubber tipped adapter but as others have said it’s inconsistent. Too bad return window has expired for me
