I purchased the "capresso froth select automatic milk frother". it screeches and the disc comes off while operating. what should i do?

I use this to make hot chocolate and it does get louder, I guess you could call it screeching, toward the end, but the disc does not come off.

Does this stir the hot chocolate to make it creamy?
