As it grows the new leaves are green and then change colour when they mature.

Will this attack massive houseflies, or does it get scared of the bigger ones?

Your question really made me laugh. They do close around a big fly to trap it. What happens once closed I’m not sure but often a dried out big fly ends up pushed back out to its edge. This is where I assist and remove the dried out fly with tweezers. I have two healthy Venus fly traps. I have repotted both in to larger pots. Sometimes one of the traps will turn black. I use the tweezers to remove. This year I had flowers on long stems. They prefer rain water and drink loads. I use water from our water-but.

Are these plants ok to be re-poted ?

They can be re-potted, just remember to use soil for carnivorous plants.

Are these always delivered by Yodel? i ask because I never buy anything if the delivery company is Yodel. thanks.

I have only positive things to say about Yodel.
