Bought this as a replacement light for the old light in my small tank which had died.Very pleased with this. Just bought the basic blue & white light, with no brightness or colour options, but this is exactly what I wanted. Simple to install and use.It gives a lovely, bright light throughout the tank and makes the colours of the fish and decorations really stand out.Good value for money. Would recommend.

Nice little lamplight.I'm using it with two mechanical timers. To light this twice a day because the 'main' light is too bright to just bang on and off for my fish.No, I didn't trust the digital versions. They're all a bit hit or miss.This route may be Old School, cheapo, but it's works.The fish are well into it, loving the subdued colour/ intensity and merged timings. Coming around from total dark to a full daylight. Picking up at their own pace.I'm not a morning kinda guy...why would my fish be!Nice light.

This gives a great light in our little fish tank but I’ve found since having it, we get lots of green algae. On the bulb and on the glass. Was going to give 3 stars but the product itself is good.

Ordered this aquarium light as, hopefully an upgrade on my present light system that came with the tank, when purchased 4 years ago. The light ordered, suggested a white and blue light system and having read that a blue light can have benefits for fish and the plants, I was very optimistic.However, introducing it to the tank and switching it on, it was a dull light affect and overall, disappointing. I left it on for the rest of the day, thinking it might just need some time to ' get up to full light capacity', but it didn't.My tank is relatively small, a 60 litre tank and the fish happily swim round much of the day, chase each other and swim in and out of their plants. With the new light, they were very subdued. Overall, I left the light on for the usual 10 hours for two days and decided to revert back to my original light. The fish were much happier and back to their normal routine.I'll keep the light, as its used now, but use it as a spare, if required. Sorry, cannot give a recommendation.The actual delivery time was very good and packaged very securely.
